Lynn showed me to a room with another elegant door and, beyond it, a lengthy hallway that proceeded through another room and into the basement. Next, there were steps leading up to a different structure that housed the office of the station director. Then she entered the office, and behind the chair was a painting that, in addition to the chair in the far corner, held the passports and all of the confidential documents. It just took a slight push to the left to unlock another secret door.

"Alright, everything you need is in there. However, you must act fast because they will return here shortly."

"I really appreciate it, but why are you helping me?"

"You told me to help you with what you need, of course!"

I simply gave her a quick glance, grabbed what I wanted, and walked away.

"No, no, no, no, not that way. It would be simpler for you on this side," she said.

In the meantime, a security guard was walking towards us through the hallway. Lynn She grabbed her gun right away and aimed it at me while yelling for me to move. That prompted the security officer to approach us and ask, "What's going on here? There shouldn't be anyone down here."

"I just brought him in, and I need your assistance. The director asked me to put him somewhere safe until he returns, so I don't need your permission to proceed."

"Its okay, Madam, but I don't have any knowledge about it."

"You don't need any information at this time, unless you want to use it to explain to the director when he returns that you obstructed the capture of this agency's most wanted individual."

As we passed him, the man gave me a disapproving look. A short while later, just as we were rounding the last sharp turn, he called to inquire about any information regarding the possibility of bringing in a prisoner.

They undoubtedly informed him that nobody or nothing had been assigned to bring anyone in. She warned me that things would turn south at any moment, and that's why we needed to move quickly.

"Now that he's seen you and knows you, what are you going to do?"

"I'm not sure where I'm going to go, but I'll go somewhere, Paris."

"in France?"

I said, "Yes, of course."

She answered, "And if they find me, I only knew that it was you."

"So I guess I don't need your trust, either."

With no one to stop us, we drove past the gates in luxury. Even so, the security officer gave Lynn a wave and bade her good night. We drove at a speed of about 300 metres when we came across the convoy that had been dispatched to the airport to look for me on their way back to the headquarters. Since Lynn was driving comfortably and I was seated in the passenger seat, nobody saw it until the driver of the fourth car requested to stop. Lynn simply drove off and disappeared. I'm sure they wondered why, but they were unaware that someone had once again gotten away from them by having the faintest possibility of catching me.

A few days later, I found myself at the airport, just two hours before my departure. Little was I unaware that Lynn knew that I was at the airport. She came to me and said she wanted to offer me something.

"Consider that carrying this with you will enable you to track the location of the device."

"What's this?"

"You'll know when you use it."

"Thank you, and how did you find me?"

"I am aware of everything that is included in the passports of every asset we have ever dealt with or on behalf of. That's how I found out."
