"Hey, why are you in this place?" I inquired.
"They are coming," she said.
"Who is coming?" I inquired.
"The entire team is pursuing you,"
"How did they find out that I was here?"
"I swear to God, I don't know whose words these are," she screamed.
"I have to leave." I responded
"Oh no, you don't have anywhere to go."
"And why is that the case?"
She said, "Of course it's true there is always someone watching, but I'm sure someone has been observing you here and you were unaware of this."
"You realize you're stuck here," she murmured.
"I understand, but you're not leaving either."
"Why?" she inquired.
"Because you're going to assist me in leaving this place," I said.
"But how will I do that?"
"You'll figure something out; you can't work in that department without knowing about it," I remarked.
We continued to argue over how I was going to leave that location as we stood there staring at each other. We observed odd individuals leaving the main door. "There they come," she exclaimed with a rapid gesture.
I looked around, and I recognised one of the guys.
Out of the three guys, I identified one right away. I wasn't sure where I had seen him previously, but I was definitely familiar with his face.
I said. "Wait here; I'll deal with them."
"No, you can't; there are a lot of them outside, and I am aware of the plan."
"What plan do you have?"
"I'm sorry to inform you that Lynn told the director everything that happened to you, everything you brought with you to Nairobi, and that Lynn is your contact for anyone who is in Nairobi."
I was aware that I had no reason to believe Lynn. At least I didn't anticipate her selling me out like that. Well, I wasn't blaming her for anything; I was just conscious of the strain they could have put on her.
"I was sure that would occur," I said.
"But she found it really simple to do so." She answered.
"It could be, given the strain they may have placed on her."
"Stop talking and let's leave now," she said.
"How can I be certain they are unaware of your presence here?"
She questioned, "You don't trust me?"
"There is nobody I trust."
"Then, for the time being, you should; otherwise, you won't be able to leave here. Come on, let's go."
"You have a weapon?" I enquired.
"Come on this way. What? Wait what? You want to use a gun in an environment that is public. She enquired.
"Yet they also possess them."
"They are authorised, and for your case, you are rouge right now."
"Do you?"
"Yes, inside my car."
"Where is your car?"
"outside in the parking lot."
