The leather on his glove rubbed against my cheek uncomfortably as he slowly caressed my face. To afraid to move I sat there like a lifeless statue, not wanting to anger him and make him hurt me the way my father had. "Bonnie" his deep voice filled the cage. "Don't be afraid I would never hurt you". The words leaving his hidden lips were empty against my ears, I was unable to believe a word he said, if he really cared about me he would never leave me in this cage. My silence must have spoken my thoughts as he let out a angry sigh, roughly letting go of my face.

BANG!

The thud from above echoed around the cage and the hooded figure jumped to his feet. Cursing under his breath he raced towards the stairs, but someone well my father no one else ever came down here had started making his way down them. "What the hell are you doing down here" he furiously spat at the hooded figure. "N-n-othing you took longer than normal so I bought the bitch some water" mumbled the figure. My heart sunk I knew his words were all lies but I had actually started to think maybe he would help me escape. I know stupid. "What you looking at you stupid witch" my father screamed as he began to make his way towards me. Suddenly the hooded figure grabbed hold of his arm stopped him from entering the cage. Letting out a little gasp I watched on to see the consequences of his actions. With one swift motion my father punched him in his masked face knocking him out cold.

"NO"  I screamed standing up. My words shocked me, why did I care what happened to him, but it was to late my father had begun to storm towards me. He immediately swung a fist hitting me on the right hand side of my face, causing me to crash down onto the floor. Blow after blow landed on my body as I lay there like a rag doll.

Crack! I felt something break in my chest as I screamed out in agony. Then everything went black.

Hooded figure:

I awoke to the sound of the most agonizing, horrible, bloodcurdling scream I had ever heard. Tilting my head towards the cage what met my eyes filled my heart with pain and shame. There lay Bonnie in a pool of blood, her father towering over her his chest heaving in anger. He slowly backed away into the corner of the cage giving me a better view of her battered body. My heart skipped a beat, there she lay still like a lifeless doll. Even from this distance I knew one thing she was dead . . .
