But they didn't notice there was something above them slithered onto a pipe above them. It collided around the pipe, squeezing it until it burst spraying steaming hot water and separating them, Roughraff and Specs on the lower level, Squeeky and Bush on the higher level. The leader of the greasers tried to push past the water cover only to scald his hand just by touching it.

Specs: Boss! Are you okay?

Roughraff: (Groan) I'm fine!

Specs: Looks like we're splitting up after all. We shall meet at the hideout.

Squeeky: Good plan.

The gang leader and the brains stepped into the murky foot-deep water below, while the rookie and the scaredy cat ventured upwards using the nearby stairway.

Roughraff and Specs carefully spotted through the low-tide water of the sewers waving their flashlights in front of them.

Roughraff: So, Specs, jus who survives dese sit-i-ations?

Specs: Well, other than the main character and usually the love interest, the ones who can think clearly and can run without tripping.

Roughraff: Sounds easy.

Specs: You try running from a megalomaniac and keep a clear mind.

Roughraff and Specs kept moving through the water full of you-don't-want-to-know when suddenly Roughraff stopped.

Roughraff: (Sniffs) Do you smell dat?

Specs: The estrange substances that are growing on my shoes? Most defiantly.

Roughraff: No somethin' else. Smells lik'a bathtub fungus.

Just then a snake-like creature burst out of the water. The mysterious creature began to fail about recklessly thrashing about trying to subdue the two greasers. Roughraff figure the thing would be easier to deal with if it stopped moving.

Roughraff: Stare Down!

But the Soultimate Move didn't work, the creature didn't have any eyes at all. It reeled back before it smacked itself into Roughraff causing him to hit the wall.

Specs: Leave him alone, you tetra-amelia!

The glasses-wearing gangster started to throw some of the items in his bag at the creature but it just swatted them away like common house-flies. It then wrapped itself around Specs before lifting him into the air.

Roughraff: Specs!

He tried jumping onto the elsatic creature to rescue Specs but it smacked him once again. The creature then retreated into the water, taking Specs with it. As Roughraff started to recuperate himself, he could see the air bubbles Specs was leaving behind were moving.

Roughraff: No ya don't.

He tried chasing after the bubbles but his injuries caused him to slow down. Less bubbles started to come out of the water and before he knew it the last bubble popped.

Roughraff: Specs...

Meanwhile-

Squeeky and Bush had gone upwards to a higher level of the sewers trying to find their way back to the gang's hideout. Luckily, Squeeky had drawn a small map to lead them there, only the map didn't have the location they were around. While they ventured, they found a suspension bridge that had a view of a giant fall of sewage water.
