The World of Yo-kai(Yokai watch X Reader)

As they rounded the corner where the scream came from but they didn't see anything. There wasn't a Yo-kai or even a human around. As they looked around, quick footsteps could be splashing along the water behind them. They turned but again, no one.

Roughraff: Bush wuz right, somethin' stinks 'round here.

Bush: And it ain't just the sewage.

The gang leader led his gang back the way they came, but they noticed something had changed. The sewer was darker.

Squeeky: Hey, guys, what happened to all the lights?

Specs: Maybe they ran out of battery, they do only run on 50 watts.

But the lightbulbs that were still lit flicker before turning off one by one. The gang was surrounded by nothing but darkness and sewage.

Bush: AAAAAAAAHHH!

Roughraff: Clam-up, grass-head!

Specs: And I thought I had less than 20/20 vision before.

Roughraff: (Dink, Roughraff, dink... Wait!) Squeeky, ya still got dose torchlights we snagged from da hardware store?

Squeeky: A-yup! One for each'a us.

The younger Yo-kai handed the lights to each of the gang members.

Squeeky: And here's one for you, Vikke... Vikke?

They all flashed their lights all around only to find that Vikke was nowhere to be seen.

Bush: Oh no! They got Vikke!

Roughraff: I sed clam-up! He ain't gone, at least not faranuff.

The leader pointed his flashlight toward the ground to show that there was a wet trail leading away from the scene.

Roughraff: C'mon.

Once again, they could only hear their footsteps and the dripping of the ceiling, only this time a swift set of footprints came from behind them. Shaken but not stirred, Bush turned around with his flashlight to find who or what was there. But as he waved the light he couldn't spot anything. Not wanting to let his guard down he kept waving the flashlight around while walking backwards, eventually bumping into the rest of the gang.

Roughraff: Ay, watchet!

Bush: S-Sorry.

Eventually, they found a fork in the road. Unfortunately, the wet trail ended at the wall and Vikke was nowhere to be seen.

Roughraff: Da trail ens here.

Specs: Improbable. There would be nowhere to go unless they dragged Vikke through the wall.

Squeeky: Wait! Maybe-

Squeeky backed up before he charged toward the wall and crashed into it. He stumbled back dazed proving the theory false.

Squeeky: (Dizzy) Okay, they didn't go through the wall...

Specs looked down where both of the pathways led. One went upwards to a higher level of the sewers, while the other went down into the swamp-like water below them.

Specs: I've seen these types of situations. 

Squeeky: Well, what happens?

Specs: The rag-tag group split up and the monster picks them off one by one.

Roughraff: Well, dat ain't gonna happen! We only lost Vikke cuz' we din't pay atintion. 

Bush: Y-Yeah, sounds good to me boss...
