Chapter 10

When I woke up the next day Luke was still holding me and I smiled and kissed him softly. "Good morning Lukey." I whispered and he smiled keeping his eyes shut and pulled me closer. "Good morning beautiful." he said with a smile. "How do you feel? Are you sore? Any regrets?" he asked opening his eyes. "I don't have any regrets at all Luke and Yeah I am sore but its a good sore it was worth it." I said smiling and kissed him again. He got out of bed and walked to the bathroom and I giggled realizing we were both still naked. I stood up and wrapped the blanket around my body and walked to Luke's closet. As I was looking through his clothes Luke came up behind me and pulled the blanket off and grabbed my waist. "I've already seen you naked don't hide your perfect body." he said kissing my neck and my cheek and I smiled. I grabbed a big shirt and pulled it over my head and slipped on my underwear. I walked downstairs while Luke was getting dressed and grabbed some cereal. He came down and took my cereal box away and said, "No let me make you breakfast." He smiled and I smiled as he got out eggs and sausage and bread for toast. When breakfast was done we went and ate in the living room and watched Disney movies. All day we just watched movies and cuddled. Later that evening around 5 his band members Calum, Michael, and Ashton came over to practice. That was one thing I didn't want to think about Luke was going back on tour after graduation next month. I also didn't want to think about graduation I was ready to leave but I wasn't ready to be in the real world. As I watched the boys practice my phone rang and I stepped out to answer my phone. It was my mom she said that her and my dad were being sent to another state so that meant extending their business trip. She said they would be back in about a week or so. When I walked back in Luke came and hugged me and rubbed my back. He knew when I was upset or when something was wrong. "Hey how about we have our first date tonight?" he said and I looked at him and smiled, "Really?" I said and he nodded. "Yeah I have something special to ask you and I wanna make it special. So why don't you go get dressed and fixed up eh?" He smiled and I smiled too and placed a kiss gently on his lips and hugged him. Ashton cleared his throat and giggled, "Were still in the room children." Ash said laughing and I blushed and walked upstairs. On Luke's bed there was a Nordstrom bag and a Sephora bag with an envelope with my name on it. I looked at it confused and grabbed the envelope and opened it and looked inside. There was a note that said, "I bought a little something something for our special date tonight. Hope you like it." Luke's name was signed at the bottom. I smiled and opened the Nordstrom bag and pulled out a dot overlay fit and flare dress. The top was black and the skirt of the dress had flowers on it. I smiled and also pulled out some black heels and opened the sephora bag. It was full of make up everything a girl could ever want. I smiled and sighed happily. I got dressed and did my make up and when I opened the door there was a trail of rose pedals. It lead downstairs to the kitchen counter where Luke's keys and a note was lying on the counter. The boys whistled at me and said, "Have fun you love bird." I giggled and grabbed his keys and the note said to go to the park. I got in his car and drove to the park and when I got there I parked in the parking lot and when I opened my door I saw another trail of pedals. There was also candles and I followed it. It lead to the giant gazebo and a single rose was lying in the middle of the floor and I picked it up and smiled. I looked around and didn't see Luke so I sat down. The whole gazebo was decorated with white christmas lights and candles and rose pedals. After 15 minutes of no sign of Luke I decided to call Ashton. "Hey where is Luke I have been sitting here alone for 15 minutes." I said and Ashton was quiet for a second and then spoke softly. "He should be there. He left an hour before you did babe he was supposed to be waiting in the middle of the gazebo holding a rose and a necklace for you." My stomach felt uneasy when he told me this and I said, "Well when I got here the rose was on the floor of the gazebo and there has been no sign of Luke." He was quiet and then said, "I'll get Mike to call him real quick babe hang on." I agreed and soon I heard a phone ring. "Hang on I hear his phone." I said looking around and walked out of the gazebo and found it lying on the ground. "Ashton his phone is on the ground but I don't see.." I stopped talking in mid sentence and screamed and started crying hard. I dropped my phone and I could hear Ashton freaking out on the other end of the phone. I stared at Luke's phone in terror. I picked up my phone and put it to my ear. "Ashton..Ashton there is blood on his phone. What if he got hurt or someone hurt him!?" I said and ashton sighed and said, "Oh my god I'll call 911 but babe stay there I'm coming for you ok? Just stay calm ok?" I heard him talking but I took the phone down from my ear as I spotted a blood trail on the ground. "Chloe? Chloe! CHLOE!?" I heard Ashton yelling but I ignored him. I started following the trail and hung up on Ashton. He tried calling me back but I just ignored it and turned my phone off. The trail lead to an old building and the door with a chain and lock. There had never been a lock on this door before and the blood went under the door. I looked around desperately for something to break the lock with and found a rock. I broke the lock and opened the door to find an empty building. The trail led to a box and when I opened it all I could find was Luke's bloody ripped shirt and a Tiffany's bag with my name on it and I looked down at the bottom and screamed bloody murder. It was a bloody knife. I fell to the ground and cried as hard as I could and held onto Luke's shirt and cried. I felt like the blood on the knife was mine from the stabbing pain in my chest. I felt like my heart was ripped out of my chest like someone took away my life instead of taking away Luke. I heard loud footsteps and yelling and soon Ashton and the boys and the police were behind me. The boys teared up and Ashton tried helping me up but all I could do was scream and cry. "NO LEAVE ME HERE! I CAN'T MOVE! NO! NO! NOOOOOOOO!" I screamed and Ashton picked me up and carried me to the car but before he took me away I grabbed the tiffany's bag and held onto Luke's shirt. I opened the bag crying and there was a note. "Chloe I know that last night you said you loved me and I told you that you couldn't love me and that you didn't want to go down that road? Well It turns out that I love you too and I want you to go down that road because you are changing me. You taught me how to love and how to feel feelings for someone. So here is something that sparkles just like you do because your just so beautiful. I need to ask you something but I need you to meet me at the swing set first." I didn't even look what else was in the bag I threw it into ashton's arms and ran as fast as I could to the swings. There was white Christmas lights wrapped around the poles and swings and rose pedals on the chairs but the first thing I saw was Luke. He was on the ground tied to the pole with a blindfold covering his eyes and duck tape over his mouth. "LUKE!" I screamed and ran to him and uncovered his eyes. He looked at me with pleading eyes and I uncovered his mouth and he immediately started to speak. "Chloe thank god! I'm so sorry Dawson came out of no where and punched me and I punched him back and he told me that if I wanted to see you again that I needed to do whatever he said. He said to let him tie me to the swing set and stage it like he had stabbed me to make you think that I was hurt." he said and as soon as his hands were free and grabbed me and held me tight. "I was hoping that you would look inside the bag." He said and I smiled at him still crying and kissed him. "HEY HELP OVER HERE I FOUND HIM!" I screamed and the police and the boys came running and I just hugged him tight not letting go. "You have no idea how glad I am to see that your ok baby I lost it when I saw that knife and I just can't imagine losing you." I said and he smiled and said, "You called me baby. Speaking of that question this isn't how I wanted this to go but will you be my girlfriend?" He asked and I smiled and was still crying. "Yes of course I will Luke." I said and hugged him tight and he held me tighter than he had ever held me before.
