The city of Iacon was glamourous in all its glory, in the world of Cybertron. The sound of bots zooming in through the sky and roads was always there, shining lights, bustling chatter, and the best part? The leader, Sentinel Prime, hero to all of its citizens who lived there.
Whether you had a cog or not, he was the best at showing mercy to all. He was even willing to find the Matrix of Leadership to restore all Energon and to stop all cogless bots from having to mine in those horrible work conditions.
Ah, just how lucky can we get?
Right now, walked a small cogless femme bot, holding a small crate full of screws and such, with a bright smile on her face as she admired the city of Iacon once again like every other morning.
"Morning Jazz!" S-23 grinned as she walked past the bot.
The bot in question smiled back through his own visors and waved at her from where he stood. "Mornin' S-23!"
The small femme bot waved and greeted her other fellow miners.
"Morning Ratchet!"
"Morning Arcee!"
And in return she'd receive smiles of appreciation and affection along with their own set of goodmornings as well. How could they not? Despite not having a cog, and having scratches and faded coloring on the surface of her plating, she was ethereal. Her words were smooth and soft so comforting and so hard to not fall for, the way her optics lightened up from curiosity and happiness...and her compassion for others is apart of the many components that came from the long list of even more reasons to perceive her as perfect and almost desirable to protect and love.
But of course, she wasn't too aware of it, only assuming her fellow coworkers were just being kind. She fixed her hold on the crate of small fasteners, now hearing a call from a familiar friend.
"S-23, hurry up! We'll miss the train!" A voice shouted from a few meters in front of her. Even if the voice sounded impatient, it was more so soft and almost beckoning when it came to her.
S-23 nodded quickly, now jogging up to him. "Of course!" She then reached to walk right next to her friend. She smiled at him. "Ready for another day of work?" The femme asked.
D-16 only shook his head, having a small smile as he sighed. "You're too energetic for an early morning.." He said as he pushed the cart of large mining tools. He looked down next to him, his gaze covering her entire form.
"Well, the faster we get that energon out, the better!" S-23 smiled cheekily up at him, bumping her arm against his.
The bot smiled back at her, finding her playful demeanor pleasant to start the day with. "You're right about something." He then fixed his gaze hesitantly back in front of him, continuing to push the cart and keeping a good pace to be able to catch up to the train.
As the two walked alongside each other, they spoke amongst each other, having a light-hearted conversation, well, mostly S-23 speaking whilst D-16 listened.
After a short while, the femme bot spoke up. "Where's Pax?" She asked curiously.
D-16 only shook his head, rolling his optics in an almost annoyed expression. "I'm willing to bet he's back in the archives and getting himself in trouble...I swear, one day he'll be put back to tier one.."
The femme bot chuckled at this, "But we won't let that happen!" She tried to cheer him up. "Besides, it's Orion! If he can get away with it last time, then he sure can this time!"
The taller bot smiled down at her once again, "Like I said before, too energetic." Before he can even tease her, from up ahead he saw two guard bots blocking the way of the small bridge, their backs turned towards the two that walked towards that particular condition. With sensitive audials, both bots heard the familiar voice of a certain miner bot in front of those two guard bots.
