"Then how did he know?" I uttered in wonderment while I was making my way towards the living room. I sat myself down on the couch and Jin sat beside me.
"He said that he saw you at the supermarket," Jin started and I immediately turned to him with a shock expression. "He did?" I asked, still with widened eyes.
"Yeah... And he then somehow followed you out of the place and saw that the kids were with you," he explained. At this point, I seriously didn't know what to do. My heart started to race once again.
"But he doesn't know they're his, so I don't think you should worry at all," Jin added, which made me feel at ease. "Oh thank God," I let out a sigh with extreme relief.
After a few moments of calming myself down, me and Jin continued putting away the groceries. Jin left the house not long after that and I went back to the twins' room.
"Mommy?" Jieun sat up while rubbing her eyes and I hummed. "Why are you still awake?" she asked me. I could see that she could barely open her eyes.
"I just miss you and Jaesung, that's all," I said and tucked Jieun back in her bed. "You can sleep with me, mommy," she said and pulled my arm towards her.
I smiled looking at her sleepy state and laid down next to her on her small bed. She turned to me and cuddled herself in my embrace. I closed my eyes and didn't realize I fell asleep.

Flashback (Six years ago)
Y/N's POV
"Oh, I think I'll have to call you later," I ended the call and went to the front door once I heard the sound of dangling keys. 'Did Jungkook forget something?' I frowned since it was only a little after 10am.
Before I could even reach the door, it flung open, revealing an elderly posh lady. "Oh, mom, it's you," I smiled at my mother in law but she let out a scoff as a reply.
My eyes then landed on the beautifully stylish young woman whose age was around mine, who was with her at the time.
"Ugh. For the millionth time, don't call me mom when Jungkook is not around," she said and clicked her tongue. "You're not worthy of being my daughter in law," she added with disgust.
I was well informed that she hated me even before I got married to her son. But I love Jungkook so much that I don't think his mother's hatred would affect me for as long as I got Jungkook's love and support. So, as usual, I brushed off her comments with silence. And without wasting any time, I turned around to go to the kitchen instead.
"Wait, I have something to discuss with you," she suddenly said which made me turn back to her. "You might want to sit down," she smirked while gesturing to me to sit at the dining table, which made me frown.
"Divorce Jungkook," she simply said without beating around the bush. "Excuse me? What?" I questioned her while I crossed my arms.
"You heard her," the girl interrupted. "I didn't I ask you, did I? And who are you again?" I glared at her. "Don't talk to her like that!" mom raised her voice at me. I was taken aback.
"Why would I divorce him? We're doing great right now," I argued. "Oh, honey. It's not a request. It's an instruction. You must divorce him or else-" mom paused. She had an evil grin on her face as she exchanged glances with the girl.
"Or else what?" I narrowed my gaze at them.
Mom threw an envelope in front of me. I opened it and my eyes went big.
I saw a few pictures of me kissing a guy, who was clearly not my husband. I knitted my eyebrows, trying to recall when did this incident took place. I closely observed the guy's face and then it hit me.
"These were taken long before Jungkook and I were even dating!" I raised my voice. "But he doesn't know that does he?" she smiled evilly.
"He wouldn't believe this that easily. I can just explain this to him," I pointed out.
"That's what you thought," she threw another envelope at me and I opened it quickly and pulled out the content.
"Where did you get this?!" I stood up holding the clinic's report. My clinic report to be exact; which was supposed to be confidential. My blood had started to boil with anger.
I literally just got the confirmation of my pregnancy this morning from the clinic. "How naive. I have my ways, dear y/n," she smirked and shook her head.
"Divorce my son, or that little bean of yours will be gone forever," she said in an inhuman manner. A gasp escaped my mouth.
"Are you out of your mind?! It's your grandchild!" I wasn't holding back with my voice this time. I was definitely yelling. "That thing will never be my grandchild!" she shouted back.
I couldn't believe what I was hearing. She said it so casually as if this being that is growing inside of me is a monster.
I dropped down onto the chair and support my forehead with my hands. My chest felt heavy and suddenly tears started rolling down my cheeks. I couldn't comprehend what was happening. My mind suddenly became clouded with millions of thoughts.
Although Jungkook always said that it's still early for us to have a family, but I don't think he'll get rid of me if I was pregnant.
But if I don't divorce him, I'll lose my baby. My now 8-weeks old little bean.
"Ok then. Suit yourself," she got up from her seat. And the girl mirrored her actions. "Just be careful though... Accidents are bound to happen anyway, you know?" Mom subtly taunted me and the two of them started walking towards the door. "Wait!" I called out to her and she turned to look at me.
"I'll do it. I'll divorce him," I gave in and she couldn't hide her happiness. She seated herself once again at the dining table.
"Sign this," she gave me another envelope. It was the divorce papers. She had prepared everything.
"Before I sign the papers, I have some conditions," I said with sobs in between but she was willing to hear them out.
"Number one, I don't want to break this news to Jungkook myself. So you have to do it for me," I pointed out with a heavy heart. "Done," she immediately replied.
"Number 2, never bother me again once I walk out of that door," I sternly said. "Not a problem. We'll be moving overseas anyways," she said with no emotions. "Any more of your stupid conditions?" she sneered.
I shook my head as I couldn't think of anything else.
She handed me a pen and I, with much unwillingness, signed the document. The elder lady smiled victoriously.
