A tale begins in the ruins of a shattered world - where blood, gods, and fate intertwine.
---
Darkness consumed the sky, eclipsing the sun.
Blood mingled with dirt and mud, staining the land black.
Flames licked the broken remains of buildings, reduced to smoldering rubble.
Mutilated corpses littered the ground.
Chants and incantations rang through the chaos, mingling with screams and explosions -
the grim melody of war.
At the heart of the carnage stood a crumbling castle.
Within its shattered throne room, a scene unfolded that defied mortal comprehension.
Twisted space stretched endlessly; countless stars shimmered tantalizingly close, yet forever beyond reach.
Massive pillars, etched with runes older than time itself, pierced through the void - their sheer scale dwarfing all understanding.
At the center stood a man - a dimly lit sword in hand.
Each ragged breath echoed through the endless dark.
Before him lay a decapitated corpse - a thing born from the abyss, its shadowy head twisting unnaturally.
Beyond it, a massive portal glimmered... and upon it rested a throne, silent, as if awaiting judgment.
Step by weary step, the man approached.
He sank his sword into the ground before the throne - a gesture of defiance, and finality.
---
> "Tell me, Idrex - do you still wish to write our tale, or have you abandoned such thoughts?"
A rasping laughter answered from the void.
> "Yes... a battle such as this must be remembered. They shall know our story - your tale."
Silence followed.
Then laughter again - echoing like distant thunder.
The man's voice, low and solemn, broke through the void.
> "Very well, Idrex. Then let me tell a story worthy of record...
A tale of a man forced to abandon all to save a world.
A man who possessed everything - yet fell."
A tale of a fallen soul.
The Tale of the Fallen Hero.
