Chapter 16

"I don't mind if you come along with us, Justin", Tyler smiled softly, directed at me. He then turned towards his friends and sister.

"I don't mind either", Skyler had a plastered smile on her face.

"Sweet! Tyler, do you want to ride with me?" I gave him an offer as a kind gesture.

"Yes!" He suddenly shouted with joy. He then realized how loud he accidentally became. Fortunately, the hallway was still crowded, so he responded, "I mean, yes, Justin, I would love to." His face was turning a bit red from blushing cutely.

Again, I had to stop myself from chuckling at how adorable he was right now.

"Heads up, Justin. We're going to be eating at the diner today", Skyler smiled coolly at me.

"Okay, got it", I nodded with a smirk.

The five of us headed out of the school and got into our respective cars. Tyler was with me, while Meghan and America went with Skyler. Let me emphasize that first part again. Tyler was riding in my car! I know it's not the first time it's happened, but I was just so ecstatic! Tyler was already buckled in, and he cutely fidgeted with his hands.

"You ready?" I excitedly asked him as I buckled myself in.

"Y-Yeah, totally!" Tyler was trying so hard to hide his nervous smile.

"Before we head over to the diner, can I ask you something?" I turned towards him with a bit of anticipation.

"What's on your mind, Justin?" Tyler was giving me a curious look with a bit of nervousness behind it.

I froze up for a second, but then regained my composure, "Would it be okay if maybe...I-I kissed you?"

Tyler went silent for a bit and stared down at the ground.

"Tyler?" I became a bit worried because he wasn't saying anything.

He finally looked over at me. "Yes, Justin, I'd like that", Tyler then softly smiled.

I leaned my face toward his with a smile. The instant that our lips touched for the second time, the sparks became more explosive! It felt better than the first time; it felt right to do this.

Damn, he's a really good kisser. I thought seductively to myself.

Tyler's lips felt so soft, just like on Halloween. Oh, how I have missed his lips. It made me want him even more than before.

When our lips finally parted from each other, I instantaneously noticed how hard Tyler was blushing. He was also smiling more brightly, and as I've said so many times before, it was really adorable.

"Let's hurry over to the diner before the girls start asking where we are", I smirked while turning the key in the ignition.

"Yeah, you're right. They totally would", Tyler chuckled as he looked over at me. I just shook my head and laughed.

We sped out of the school parking lot and toward the direction of the diner.

The girls questioned both Tyler and me. Especially once we sat down at the big round corner booth they were sitting at.

"What took you guys so long?" Skyler raised an eyebrow with curiosity, mostly looking at Tyler when asking the question.

Tyler didn't respond. All he did was blush while sitting next to me. I spoke up for the both of us.

"We were singing songs together on the way here and forgot to turn into the parking lot", I responded quickly with a sheepish smile. I mean, it wasn't like I was somewhat lying to them. Who doesn't like singing Dance To This by the best duo, Troye and Ariana?
