Tyler.
It was the final fifteen minutes of the last period of the school day! I couldn't wait any longer for this hangout with Justin. For the whole time after getting back from lunch, I didn't stop thinking or talking about Justin. My sister was annoyed at how much I was talking about my new friend. We were in the same class for the last class period.
"Geez, the amount of time you've been talking about Justin, it seems like you have a crush on him!" Skyler snickered at me, trying to get a reaction out of me.
"N-No! What? I'm just so excited!" I stammered for a bit trying to get myself under control.
"Yeah, right" Skyler muttered while rolling her eyes at me.
As I went to respond to her, I was rudely interrupted by the ringing of the school bell.
Quickly packing my things and rushing out of the classroom, I briskly walked to the entrance of the high school.
I was briefly talking to America and Meghan as I waited for Justin to come out of the building.
"So, are you nervous for your date?" America smirked while Meghan laughed playfully.
"I-It's not a date! We're just hanging out as friends!" I exclaimed with a stammer in my voice.
"Uh huh, sure", America chuckled and rolled her eyes with a smile. I slightly blushed at the thought of it.
"There you are!" I heard Justin say as he walked up to the three of us. The butterflies in my stomach were fluttering like crazy!
"H-hey Justin!" I quickly stammered quietly.
"You ready Tyler?" Justin flashed me his signature smile.
"Y-Yeah", I replied, still slightly under my breath.
I said my goodbyes to my best friends and walked with Justin over to his car. The both of us got in, buckled up, and headed out of the parking lot.
The car ride was silent for most of the journey to wherever we were heading off to.
Speaking of which, I pondered to myself, Where are we even going anyway?
"W-Where are we going to be today?" I decided to finally ask Justin.
"You'll see we're almost there", Justin looked over at me and winked. I started blushing when I thought he wasn't looking in my direction anymore.
Ten minutes later, we had finally arrived at our destination. My eyes had widened in ecstasy because he brought me to the local mini golf course!
This is going to be interesting, I thought to myself.
"You ready to have some fun?" Justin asked me and winked as the two of us were heading towards the entrance.
"Y-Yeah, of course", I replied with a hint of nervousness behind my tone of voice.
Both Justin and I walked up to the cashier's desk. I was kind of nervous because I've never golfed before, let alone have gone mini-golfing.
"For two adults please", Justin smiled at the employee behind the desk, while pulling out his wallet.
It's sweet that he paid for both of us. I smiled to myself, as the girl from behind the desk handed us two pink, paper bracelets. He didn't have to though.
Justin placed his paper bracelet around his left wrist. I was trying to do the same thing as him, but without messing it up. Justin noticed the slight struggle I was having, which I had hoped he wouldn't.
