Tyler.
The sun shone through my curtains, and this time I felt better about myself. Today was the day that Justin and I were going to hangout and honestly, I was so ecstatic and thrilled! After getting ready for school, I had to decide what to wear for this hangout. It was towards the end of September, so it was going to be chilly more often. I decided with my brown and tan striped oversized Blackwell hoodie with a plain white tee underneath. Also pairing it with a pair of light-washed blue jeans and my pair of white Converse. On top of everything, I decorated my look with the new necklace and bracelet I had gotten yesterday. When I was leaving my room, I heard Skyler coming out of her room to go downstairs.
"Skyler!" I exclaimed while grabbing my phone and backpack.
"Yes, Tyler?" Skyler whirled around at the top of the stairs with some confusion in her voice.
"Do you like my outfit? After school I'm hanging out with Justin!" I exclaimed and twisted my body a bit to show off the outfit.
Skyler looked up and down at every detail of the clothes and accessories I was wearing. "I love it! He's going to like it as well", she exclaimed with excitement.
The both of us made it down to the first floor of our house, and when I was about to grab some of the mini pancakes that our mom made, Skyler stopped me and pulled me aside to the family room.
"What is it?" I asked Skyler with confusion and a slightly raised eyebrow.
"You're going to be hanging out with The Justin Meadows today?!" Skyler asked me with excitement.
"Yeah? What's wrong with that?" I asked her with a bit more confusion.
"Nothing! I'm glad you're making new friends!" Skyler exclaimed with a smile and clasping her hands together.
"I'm glad as well", our mom came over and interrupted us, "I'll also be glad when you finish your breakfast and get to school on time". She turned and went back to the kitchen.
Skyler and I looked at each other with a 'did she just butt into our conversation?' look on our faces. I rolled my eyes and went back into the kitchen to finish my breakfast. When we were ready, I got into Skyler's car and we headed off for school.
We got into the school building just in time because I had gotten to my history class when the bell rang. When I sat down, not only Justin and Aaron were sitting in their seats, but Brianna was there as well!
"Hey Tyler!" Justin turned and smiled at me.
"Hey Justin!" I replied with a smile and a slight blush that creeped across my face.
Justin was about to say something else, but then the teacher came in and interrupted everyone's conversations. I internally groaned to myself because I wanted to keep talking to Justin.
You just gotta get through the school day, Tyler. I thought to myself with confidence.
The lunch period couldn't get to me any slower today for some reason. When it finally rolled around, I dashed over to where my sister and our friends were. The three of them were standing by the front doors waiting for me so we could go grab something to eat. We got into Skyler's car for today and headed out of the parking lot. On our way, we decided on going back to the sushi place we ate last week. While we were eating and talking, I couldn't stop thinking about Justin and trying to predict what he had planned for us after school.
Ryder.
I hate just existing, I truly hate it! Has nobody come looking to see where I've run off to? Probably not because mom and dad are too busy milking all of the raw talent out of Tyler and Skyler. My siblings are too busy trying to fit in from moving into my school for their last year. I haven't heard from my friends either, then again my phone died hours ago. I knew I should've taken a phone charger with me, but I was rushing to get out of Justin's house.
