"I didn't know a model lived in this town," Joshua remarked, glancing around the quaint streets as the newcomer took in the charm of the small town.
"Model?" Vernon braised an eyebrow, puzzled by Joshua's statement. He turned to Seungkwan, the café...
"Here, meet my friend Joshua. He came to visit," Vernon said, patting Joshua's shoulder with a grin.
"Nice to meet you, Joshua-shi," Seungkwan greeted, offering a polite nod.
Vernon had been Seungkwan's childhood friend, but he had moved to the USA for his studies a few years ago. Now, after what felt like ages, he had finally returned to Korea to work.

As Seungkwan wiped down the table, Joshua leaned against the counter, watching the small town's peaceful atmosphere through the window. "I didn't know your town had a model," he remarked casually.
"Model?" Seungkwan looked up, eyebrows furrowing in confusion.
"Yeah, the pretty guy with long hair down to his shoulders," Joshua elaborated, gesturing vaguely as if trying to sketch the image in the air.
Seungkwan suddenly burst into laughter while Vernon smirked and turned to him. "Does hemean him?" Vernon asked, tilting his head.
"I think so," Seungkwan replied between chuckles while Joshua stood there, utterly confused.
Shaking his head, Seungkwan finally clarified, "Hyung, he's not a model-he owns the strawberry farm."
_____
"I volunteer!" Joshua suddenly screamed, raising his hand high in the air, his voice echoing through the small-town café.
Choi Seungcheol, the town's restaurant owner, who had been stirring a pot behind the counter, froze mid-motion. His eyes flickered toward Joshua, brows knitting together in confusion.
"Why is he so weird?" Seungcheol whispered to Mingyu, the owner of the local bookstore, who was leaning against the counter, casually flipping through a comic book. He also ran a small gaming area in the back with his partner, where a few kids were currently immersed in a racing game.
"I have no idea, dude," Mingyu muttered, glancing at Joshua, who still had his hand raised as if waiting for some invisible audience to acknowledge his dramatic declaration.
Soonyoung, the town's journalist and writer, who had been quietly observing the scene with an amused smirk, finally chimed in. He leaned back in his chair, stretching lazily. "I think our boyhere has got it bad for Mr. Strawberry," he mused, tapping his pen against his notepad.
Mingyu and Wonwoo exchanged glances before looking back at Joshua, who, oblivious to their conversation, was still grinning like an excited schoolboy with a crush.
In the quiet town nestled between rolling green hills and endless fields, life moved at a peaceful, predictable pace. That is, until Joshua arrived.
Joshua, a 29-year-old Korean-American businessman, had spent most of his life in bustling cities, managing brands, and navigating the corporate world. Sharp, confident, and always dressed like he had a meeting to attend, he stood out like a sore thumb in the town's relaxed atmosphere. He had come here for a short break, or so he claimed-but fate had other plans.
And then, there was Jeonghan. The town's beloved strawberry farmer, also 29, was the complete opposite of Joshua. With sun-kissed skin, a warm smile, and long hair that often fell messily over his shoulders, Jeonghan was a local favourite. Whether it was the elderly ladies at the market, the children who ran through his farm, or the café owners who stocked his fresh strawberries, everyone adored him.
Joshua had expected a quiet escape from city life. What he hadn't expected was to be utterly fascinated by the man everyone called "Mr. Strawberry."
