Shaan was the best friend of priya from childhood and the entertainer of the group. He always made fun of people, pulled pranks, and made everyone laugh. But sometimes, his jokes went too far.

One day in college, Shaan, as always, was in high spirits, cracking one joke after another. Priya rolled her eyes, clearly unimpressed. "Funny? More like annoying," she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "And don't involve me in your silly jokes, Shaan. "

The conversation carried on, Shaan tossing quips while Priya pretended to be annoyed, though a faint smile tugged at her lips. Then Shaan's eyes lit up with an idea. His tone turned conspiratorial as he leaned closer to Arjun.

"Hey, you know what would be hilarious? Let's pull a little prank on Priya. "

It was a silly idea. Arjun hesitated but couldn't resist Shaan's enthusiasm. The plan involved gifting Priya a box filled with insects, just to see her reaction. Shaan assured him it would be harmless fun.

Later in the day Shaan brought a beautifully wrapped box. "This will be fun," he whispered, handing Arjun.

Arjun hesitated but gave it to Priya.

"A surprise for me?" Priya smiled, touched by the gesture.

She untied the ribbon and lifted the lid. The moment she saw the insects inside, she screamed.

She threw the box, panicking, she stepped back. Her step slipped, and she fell straight into a muddy pothole. Water splashed everywhere. Her dress was soaked and clung to her body. Mud covered her hands and knees.

All went silent for a second-then burst into laughter. As Laughter grew louder. Some students pointed at her. A few took out their phones to record. But no one was laughing harder than Shaan. He clutching his stomach, tears forming in his eyes as he gasped between laughs.

"Dude, that was hilarious!" he wheezed.

Arjun, however, wasn't laughing. His heart pounded as he took in the sight before him-Priya, standing frozen in shock. Humiliation burned across her face as she looked around at the gawking crowd. Her hands clenched into fists, her drenched dress clinging to her, the mud staining her once-pristine outfit.

Then, without a word, she turned on her heels and stormed off, her wet dress dripping with every furious step.

Shaan wiped a tear from his eye, still grinning. "Man, I swear, this is the funniest thing we've ever-"

"Shut up, Shaan," Arjun snapped, his voice tense.

Shaan blinked, caught off guard. "What? It was just a prank. "

Arjun kept staring at Priya as she disappeared. "We messed up, it's too much," he muttered.

Shaan said "She'll get over it. "

Later that evening, Arjun sat outside his dorm, elbows resting on his knees, his fingers threading through his hair. His mind replayed the scene over and over-Priya's face, the whispers, the way she didn't even look back.

He had never seen her so hurt before.

A familiar voice broke through his thoughts.

"Hey, buddy... " Arjun didn't look up.

Shaan stood nearby, scratching the back of his head, his usual cocky grin replaced with something more hesitant. "Look, I'm sorry. I didn't think it'd go that far. But I'll fix it, I promise. "

Arjun exhaled sharply. "Yeah? And how do you do that?"

Shaan chuckled. "Come on, it's not that serious. She just needs some time-"

"Time?!" Arjun finally looked up, his glare sharp. "That's the thing I don't have, we have to do something within Two days. "

"Why two days?" Shaan asked, confused.

Arjun sighed. "Because the day after tomorrow is our first anniversary. I had this whole romantic date planned with her at my flat. Now it's all ruined, Because of your stupid prank. "

He squared his shoulders. "Okay. I get it. But don't worry. Two days? That's more than enough time for me to fix this. Trust me. "

Arjun crossed his arms. "And if you fail?"

Shaan smirked. "If I fail, I'll do whatever you say. Deal?"

Arjun narrowed his eyes. "What if you back out?"

Shaan scoffed, placing a hand over his chest dramatically. "Please. I'm a Chhatriya. We're known for keeping our promises-no matter what. "

Arjun smirked. "Alright. Then if you fail... you'll dress up in a saree and be my girlfriend for the anniversary plans. "

Shaan threw his head back and laughed. "Done! But trust me, dude! That's never happening!"

Arjun just shrugged. "We'll see. "

Shaan walked away, whistling nonchalantly, Arjun couldn't help but wonder about his overconfident friend. Arjun didn't know whether Shaan would succeed or not. But one thing was certain-this was going to be interesting.

Next day, Shaan tried his best to talk to Priya. He explained it was his plan, He even begged. But Priya stayed angry. She told Shaan, "This is between me and Arjun. Stop interfering!" Then he asked Arjun to talk to Priya and explain that it was all a silly prank. But Priya, still furious, refused to listen and walked away angrily.

The next day, Shaan came up with another plan. He asked Arjun to write her a heartfelt letter. They slipped the letter into her notebook, but when Priya saw it she tore it up without saying a word.

Not ready to give up, Shaan suggested they send her flowers with an apology note. But Priya left the bouquet on the cafeteria table without even looking at it.

As a final attempt, Shaan convinced Arjun to sing a love song in front of the whole class, hoping a grand gesture would melt her anger. Arjun poured his heart into the performance, but Priya didn't respond or even show up.

Two days passed, and Priya didn't forgive Arjun. It was the evening before the anniversary, and Arjun stood in his room with his arms crossed.

Shaan sat on the bed, looking guilty. "I've tried everything, and nothing worked. I lost. What now?" he admitted, accepting his defeat.

Arjun is angry at Shaan. "You know the deal. You'll be my girlfriend for the anniversary celebration. "

Shaan groaned. "Are you serious about making me do all that? Forgive me last time"

Arjun didn't budge. "No forgiveness, Shaan, and you can't back out. "
