A whirlwind of color and sound later, I find myself in a small hotel room while basic wasn't half bad. I see a note on the desk. I place my bag on the bed and read the note.
Wait here until the client arrives and make yourself at home. G
I opened my suitcase to see the usual clothing assortment. One would find just a simple change of clothes and a small toiletry bag. I pressed the button on the inner right-hand side, and the first compartment lifted up to show the pelican case. The 2011 and 26 were inside, along with the knives I chose along with the magazines and a small tactical light. The mini suppressor was sitting in the corner of the case.
I take out my weapons, brass checking them and secure the suppressor to 2011, then securing them to my person. I paced around for hours. Occasionally peering subtlety through the curtains. The only other business in the immediate area was a shabby gas station. After another hour, I sat down on the bed, which felt so real. I turned on the TV just to pass the time. There wasn't anything on, so I settled on some nature documentary.
I didn't know how much time passed until I glanced at my watch. It has been four hours since I arrived at the hotel and still the client has not arrived yet. I was starting to get drowsy. Greeze wouldn't be happy if I had been asleep when the client arrived, so I turned on the coffee machine. Within minutes, it was ready. I poured it into a paper cup I got from the bathroom. I took a sip... true to my initial assumption, it tasted like shit but it'll do. I sipped it for the next while, while I waited. I looked outside again, coffee in hand to check the parking lot, expecting to see nothing, but I finally saw signs of life.
Several black SUVS and two panel vans enter the parking lot. I was finally relieved that he was here. We can get this job started.
The doors to the vehicles open, and several women exit the SUVS. Several men leave each van, each of them wearing black fatigues and plate carriers. each carrying a random weapon ranging from rifles to SMG'S.
Shit! These were the saints! One of them coordinated with the male mercs that came with the They begin to set up a perimeter. One of the women, a muscular subject, goes to the trunk and takes an RPG out of it. She aims it directly at my window, smirks, and fires it as I move to the far edge of the roo-.
The rocket explodes inside the window frame. I just barely get to cover before the blast blows a hole through the wall, killing the people next door.
My ears are ringing, and I'm disoriented, but I pick myself up and head through the hole, trying to get away. As I exited the room into the opposite hallway, my hearing returned by this point. I heard gunshots and screaming from the outside. It sounded like the mercs were cleaning the whole hotel clean. I had to get out of here. I drew my weapon, moving silently through the hallway pieing each corner. I rounded a corner and saw two of the saints in the hallway with two of their troops going room to room looking for survivors. If they were in a patrol formation, there would be one behind me at any moment. Or they would find me, I had to take them out to get past them. I posted up on the wall and took a deep breath, and moved around the corner enough to aim as all four of them entered the hallway. One saw me and raised her gun.
Immediately, everything slowed down. I saw time falter and all but stop. I squeezed the trigger, putting a bullet in each target, the shots no louder than a whisper. They were dead before they hit the ground. I made my way outside passing through the parking area. There were bodies everywhere. I had to be careful not to trip but had to keep myself close to the ground in a crouch to avoid being seen. I step behind a van as I hear movement ahead, I wait patiently watching his shadow get closer. As he came around the corner, I slammed my gun into his neck, stunning him and then grabbing him, slamming him into the pavement.
"CONTACT!" I hear from nearby. bullets slam into my immediate vicinity as I hit the ground to dodge the gunfire. I crawl around the bodies and get underneath a mini van. I spot the legs of the shooters. I adjust, take aim, and put rounds into their shins till they hit the ground. When they did, I noticed their expressions, one of shock. I put a bullet in each of them. I roll out of there and leave the parking area. As I get up, I notice a saint with her back to me investigating with a male gunman I fired into them, killing them, I reload and move on. As I moved into the courtyard, I saw the remainder of the saints and a portion of their goons at the gas station across the street. I realized the corpse I'm next to had a couple of grenades. They were standing next to the pumps. I grab them and crawl to the lower wall of the parking lot. I'm about 20 yards away. If I aim this just right, I can get most of them as they are. I peek out, aiming my pistol at the pump's hose, sending a round through it, causing gasoline to start steadily yet quietly pouring out.
