Jingchen let out a sigh devastated. Only he knew how much struggle he went through to establish this base.Although his nephew helped him with few things he was the one who contributed more.

His family did not escape this apocalypse.Before he escaped,his brother entrusted Lu Xian's safety to him.So he took his nephew with him.He is the only relative left for him in this world.But who would have thought that he wanted to kill Jingchen.

Jingchen had a headache thinking about Lu xian.Lin su who was beside him held his hand and rubbed it.Lin su knew what Jingchen was thinking about.If he had a nephew like Lu xian he would be dissapointed too.

Yu yuan who came to know about the situation in the base was surprised.He did not expect the base to be like this.He was glad that they found Lin su before they came to this base.Atleast they were free to do whatever they wanted when they were outside.

Qin zhou observed Jingchen's reaction.He was happy that Mr.Lu was still alive.He was already disgusted with the people in the base.He planned to move out of this base earlier but now that Mr.Lu is here he decided to stay.

Yu yuan came near Qin zhou and asked him "Which team are you assigned with?.." Qin zhou was surprised and looked up to see Yu yuan standing near him."Ohh..I am also in black tigers.."

Yu yuan:"I forgot to introduce myself.. I am Yu yuan and this is my sister Yu qi and that is Lin su.."

Qin zhou:"Can i ask you something.. " he asked looking at Lin su in a confused way.

Yu yuan chuckled.He can guess his doubt with his expression."If you are gonna ask about them then your guess is correct they are a couple.." Qin zhou was surprised.Although he had known Jingchen for a short time he had never seen him get close to anyone.Not even his own nephew could get close to him.

"Do we have to go on missions regularly.." Yu qi asked Qin zhou. Qin zhou shook his head."No..the people in this team are divided into batches and few ordinary people join them to go on a mission..Our team is the most powerful one in this base under the leadership of Lu xian."

Yu qi was disgusted.She doesn't want to be on the same team with a love brain.She wants to be stronger and did not want to end up like those other woman in the base who sell their bodies to gain power.

She has seen a lot when they went outside.She was determined to show these men that she is not someone who is easy to mess with.As for love she does not have any plan about it.

"Who will assign the people to go on mission" Yu yuan asked."It will be decided by Ling shen.He allots the people to go out and he also collects the crystals that was found on that day.But he will not give out those to others.He distributes it to those people with higher powers to gain their favor." Qin zhou answered.

He knew that other members in the team also dislike Ling shen's way of dealing with the base matters.But they are just cowards who is afraid to go against him and raise their opinions.

"Thank god i did not come to the base early.." Yu yuan said.Yu qi also nodded her head.She was also glad that they met Lin su.She was powerful now thanks to Lin su.

Qin zhou's stomach suddenly rumbled.His face turned red.He didn't eat since yesterday night.Those people did not share the food provided by the base to him.Others also looked at him.

"Let's eat.." Lin su said.Qin zhou was confused as they did not have any food to eat here and the base would not provide food to newcomers until they go on missions.Yu yuan chuckled seeing his expression.

He felt good about Qin zhou being so expressive.He could read him so easily.He likes people who express their feelings rather than hiding it.
He patted Qin zhou on his back and put his hand on his shoulder.

Lin su on the other side took out meat,noodles and induction stove.
He gave all those to Jingchen to cook and laid down on the sofa.

"How.."Qin zhou asked dumbfounded."Sshh.. It's our secret...You should not tell others.." Yu yuan placed his finger on Qin zhou lips.Qin zhou looked up and made a eye contact with Yu yuan.They stared at each other for a while.

Suddenly they heard a coughing sound coming from Yu qi.They broke out of stance and looked away from each other.Yu yuan took his finger away from Qin zhou's lips awkwardly.

Qin zhou was embarrassed his whole face turning red.Yu yuan who saw his face whispered cute under his breath.Qin zhou was really cute.He was a head shorter than Yu yuan.He has a small face with baby fat looking rosy.

He has deep brown eyes which was warm and showed innocence. He has black hair upto his shoulder.This long hair made his appearance look so soft.Yu yuan who sat on the sofa kept staring at Qin zhou obvious to his surroundings.

What Yu yuan did not know is that though Qin zhou had a soft appearance he can be ruthless and cold too.

Lin su and Yu qi made eye contact and chuckled at Yu yuan's behavior.Lin su was happy that the second male lead found a new love interest.He did not want Yu yuan to fall for the heroine.

Yu qi on the other hand was embarrassed by her brother.She always knew that her brother is not someone who opposes homosexuality.But she did not see him having interest on the same sex.But she is happy for her brother for finding love.

Jingchen who was busy cooking did not notice anything.He just wants to cook for his baby.After the food was done he poured the noodles with meat in two bowls and brought it to Lin su.

Yu qi who saw this took her own bowl and started eating.Yu yuan also took two bowls filled with noodles and brought one to Qin zhou and gave it to him.

Jingchen woke up Lin su and placed him on his lap.He fed him food as usual.Yu siblings who was used to this did not care.But the innocent Qin zhou was dumbfounded once again.

Yu yuan pinched Qin zhou's cheeks and made him look at him."If you want i can feey you like that too.." Qin zhou's ears turned deep red and stammered.."No.. No..need i will eat myself.." started eating.

After they finished eating,a guard appeared at their doorstep."Who is  Yu qi here?..." Yu qi came out and stood in front of the guard."it's me" she said."Ohh..You are asked to go out on today's mission.The car is waiting at the entrance of the base" after saying this he left.

"Why only you..I am coming with you too.." Yu yuan spoke worried. Yu qi went near him and held his hand "Brother please..I already told you..you can't protect me all the time..Now i am stronger and you know this too.I am your sister and i should be as brave as you.Let me go and i promise to return in one piece to you.."Yu qi smiled.

Although he was reluctant he did not want to stop his sister from leaving.Also he has faith in her that she could protect herself.Yu yuan hugged Yu qi and patted her head."Be safe" he said.

"Okay brother.." Yu qi nodded. "Ahh..Lin su can i get a cap and mask.." Yu qi asked.Lin su nodded and took out a cap and mask and gave it to her.Yu qi wore it and left.

Yu yuan watched her leaving with worried eyes.Lin su came behind him and patted his back."Trust me she will be fine..You should be worried about the people who is gonna mess with her.." Lin su knew although Yu qi looked soft she will be ruthless to those people who mess with her.Lin su felt sleepy and left with Jingchen.

"Why.. Why only her..we did take the test together.." Yu yuan mumbled.Qin zhou who was near him heard it."Its because she is a level four power user and today all the people who go on mission are level four.." Yu yuan regretted that his level was higher that her sister.

Qin zhou felt his distress.He was a only child without any siblings.He was the youngest in the family and all of them treated him as a child.
He did not get to have those sibling fights and quarrels.He was always envious of his friends who had siblings.

He did not know how to comfort Yu yuan so he used the way his mother would coax him whenever he was upset.Qin zhou hugged him and patted on his back.Yu yuan was surprised by the hug but he needed it now desperately so he hugged him back tightly.He hopes that his sister would return back safely.
