The golden hues of the evening sun streamed through the glass windows of JEE Institute, casting a warm glow on the students buried in their books. Amid the hushed murmurs and the rustling of pages, two girls sat together, whispering and chuckling under their breath—completely in their own world.

Isha and Inaaya.

They weren't just best friends; they were soul sisters. The kind of bond that didn't need words to be understood. If Inaaya was the fire, Isha was the calm breeze. If Isha was the logic, Inaaya was the emotion. They balanced each other effortlessly, always ready to catch the other when they fell.

Inaaya nudged Isha with her elbow. "Ishu, Tujhe pata hai? Sir ne aaj mujhe dekh k daata nhi jab main late aayi thi!" she whispered dramatically.

Isha smirked, flipping through her notebook. "Kyunki tujhe late aane ki aadat pad chuki hai. Ab sir bhi ignore karna seekh gaye hain."

They both giggled, unaware that someone had been watching them for a while.

At a few desks away, a boy sat with his chin resting on his palm, eyes fixed on Inaaya. Adit.

The moment he had stepped into the institute , his eyes had unknowingly followed Inaaya. There was something about her—her confidence, her carefree laughter, her fiery attitude—that intrigued him. He wasn't sure when a small admiration turned into a full-fledged crush, but by the time he realized, it was too late.

However, getting close to Inaaya meant getting close to Isha too.

So, he did what any smart guy would do—he befriended both.

"Hey,Inaaya... hey, Isha didi!" Adit slid into the seat next to them, flashing a grin.

Inaaya raised a brow. "Kya kaam hai?"

Adit chuckled. "Arre, itna rude mat bano. Main toh bas aapko puchne aaya tha ki assignments likhne me kuch help chahiye hogi toh batana, mai help kr dunga."

Isha, being the more observant one, noticed the way Adit's eyes always searched for Inaaya before settling into a casual act. She exchanged a glance with Inaaya, who just rolled her eyes before they both burst out into laughter.

And just like that, the trio was formed.

What none of them knew was that this friendship would one day take an unexpected turn—one that none of them were prepared for.
