Mission priorities are reconnaissance and surveying. Team is authorised to meet any threats, entities, or manifestations at their discretion, although extraction is the preferred course of action. Mission Control may permit extension of mission and resupply cache following criteria outline as follows:

1.) Hostile entities are NOT found

2.) Glitch distortion and manifestations remain

at acceptable threshold (below 1.0Ђ)

3.) PI Limits are established

4.) PI is considered safe and hazard free.

Team Lead, through assigned Knotworx, should report to Mission Control immediately upon reaching boundary of PI, if hazards or anomalies are detected, entities manifest, or if engaged by hostile entities or manifestations. If engaged by hostile entities or manifestations, Team should prioritise safe extraction by whatever means evaluated by Team Lead, or senior team member.

All Team Members will report to Decontamination and Evaluation. Team Members may not return to active duty until cleared by Site Director.

Report:

PI 902-17a, as predicted, has fluctuating volume. Assessments of its flux over the extended time frame allowed by Mission Control give it a volume of between 13km3 and 15km3. Its internal substrate appears to be made of some kind of anomalous kinetic sand which gives way to a superstrate of liquid-silk substance that is highly resistant to deformation. 902-17a is lit by luminous bands in the superstrate and ribbons of aetherial lucence. 902-17a has no atmosphere and a FG of 0.12. No detectable GQF exists inside and is devoid of hazards.

The contents of PI 902-17a were limited to seven caches of objects and nothing else. Five of seven caches were extracted, with Caches 6 and 7 unable to be displaced.
