Why does Y/n have so many Private Points and why won't she tell anyone?

That will be revealed later on in the story.

Will Ayanokoji press Y/n into admitting what Hashimoto really said?

Yes, but it won't be immediately.

Will there be more White Room Scenes?

Yes.

What made you choose the cover for the story you have now?

I actually had no idea what to make the cover of the story.  I discussed what I wanted with my friend and she sent me a few photos and the one you see is the one I chose.  Overtime I edited it and put the COTE logo on there obviously.

Will any other major events change and or be added like how the scene with Ayanokoji fighting Ryuen was replaced?

I have already read what the manga has published so far and after reading it and analyzing it a few times, I can say so far, no nothing will be removed.  There will be some slight tweaks to it, but nothing will be replaced either.

Since Karuizawa and Ayanokoji are not dating, what will her role be in the future?

She will still remain a classmate and have feelings for Ayanokoji, but not too much will be happening. However that may subject to change.

Who is actually more intelligent, Y/n or Ayanokoji?

To be honest I would say that is a very difficult question because they both are very similar with a few flaws, but I wouldn't say that makes ones more intelligent than the other.  It's like asking someone, "Who is smarter L or Light Yagami?"

When Y/n was talking to Ichinose she said to her, "One of my old childhood friends once said, 'When things get tough, respond with a smile, it will give you the strength to keep moving forward,' his name was Yuya." What did that mean?

I was referencing a quote from one of my favorite anime series Yugioh, this quote was specifically said by Yuya Sakaki from Yugioh Arc V.  However it did also hint at something else compared to Ayanokoji who lived in the White Room practically all his life(or atleast what we know so far), Y/n on the otherhand did live normally for a few years.  However, more will be revealed later on in the story.

Why did you add Y/n's Father into the story to meet her individually instead of it just being Ayanokoji's Father meeting both of them?

I feel like with a lot of fanfictions with Y/n in it, they do not really add depth to their background.  Which is why I decided to add it in their, however I did feel I was bordering between a "Y/n" character and an "OC" so I tried my best not to have the scene be too impactful.

Why did Y/n buy Ayanokoji a Bonsai Tree?

I felt like it was a simple, yet delicate gift.  Which I felt would be perfect for Ayanokoji.

Why is Y/n symbolized as the White Queen specifically out of all the chess pieces?

The queen is obviously the most powerful chess piece on the boar, especially when it can move in all directions.  Ayanokoji being the black king mirrors his strategic mindset because it is the most crucial for survival. If Y/n were to were to be the Black Queen, I felt her identity would be too closely aligned with Ayanokoji's darker side.

Why does Tsukishiro know about what happened between Y/n's parents?

I honestly just threw that in there to make a connection with her eyes, however I will probably find some way later on to connect it all like I always do.  I put a huge emphasis on symbolism, and I am sure that is pretty obvious throughout the whole story.

Since it is mainly from Y/n's point of view and since you do not see much of Ayanokoji's thoughts, are his feelings towards Y/n actually genuine?

Yes.

Why did you have Ayanokoji and Y/n be referred to as numbers in the White Room, when that actually did not happen in the anime?

I wanted to add something darker to the White Room to make it more interesting.  I also wanted to challenge myself to see if I could only use the numbers as the ONLY way of Y/n could reveal who she was to Ayanokoji.  It is seen in Ch. 39 A Numbers Game.  To make it even more complex I did not want to choose a simple number like 7 or 3 nor a really high number like 99 because I felt it would give it away too easily.  I randomly ended up choosing 0038 and 0045.

Follow up question: Will the new White Room student have a number, and will it have any significance to the story?

Yes I do plan on giving them a number, however if it will have any significance, I have not thought that far yet.

Symbolism you might of noticed or missed:

Given Name: I think the most obvious one was the shift of Y/n referring to Ayanokoji from his family name to his given name throughout the story.

Y/n's necklace:  The pendant being like two silver rings/circles that looked stable at first glance but moved ever so slightly upon touch.  This was meant to symbolize their relationship together.  This was also to foreshadow how the Final Exam match would play out too.

The Rose Quartz: Obviously everyone knows its a symbol of love, but that is not what I am getting at here.  I specifically put it was shaped in a circle and circles are symbolized for things that never end or always ongoing.  So yes this does mean that Ayanokoji will never lose feelings for Y/n as the story progresses.

Coin Flip: The uncertainty of the future, but no matter Y/n and Ayanokoji are both bound to face struggles.

White Chess Pieces: This was more of a deeper meaning that you might not of caught about another reason why Y/n is the White Queen.  Typically, in chess, the white pieces move first.  This relates to when Manabu asked her if she was like Ayanokoji and did not want to standout.  She then stated that she only does something when it happens to catch her attention/or she finds it interesting, only then does she make a move. (Ch. 56 Growth)

Pastry bag: Y/n hesitates to eat it because she said she wanted to save it for when she had a moment to enjoy it.  It is a very small thing that was probably overlooked and seen as fluff, but it reflects her tendency to suppress personal desires she has in favor of strategic considerations she has.

The Last Sentence of Ch 51. The Queen's prelude: In Y/n's inner monologue she says "When the pieces fall, what will remain of the one who moved them?" You might see this as Y/n thinking about the results of the match between her and Hashimoto and what would happen if she wins or loses.  However I really put it there to foreshadow how Year 2 will play out.  I will give you an idea so you are not sidetracked and think something completely different, but I wont give you a definite answer on either options.

So really the person being the one who "moves" the pieces can be seen as Ayanokoji's Father or Tsukishiro who have strategically tried to make Ayanokoji and Y/n return to the White Room.  It can also be seen as either Y/n or Ayanokoji being the one who moves the pieces around as they continue to make sacrifices in order to win.

Y/n blocking Arisu's attack instead of Hashimoto: Originally Hashimoto tries to hit on Karuizawa and then gives his reason being that he has had his eye on her for awhile.  Y/n on the other hand I felt like I needed to give Hashimoto a more definite reason on trying to hit on her rather than just a simple "I have had my eye on you for awhile." because in the anime it just felt really random seeing that interaction.

The Last Two Chapters: Chapter 57 being There's more than and Chapter 58 being meets the eye. Referring to the quote "There's more than meets the eye" about people's true character and slight foreshadowing as to what is going to come next.

The last piece of Symbolism I will note is that even though I actually have not started writing Year 2.  I already have a solid idea for how it is going to play out with Y/n and it is foreshadowed in three specific scenarios throughout the story, and no it is not in one specific chapter or clumped together in a few chapters.  It is separated throughout the whole story.
