When I was a kid the told me I could be what ever I wanted to be,
so I had a dream of my own, it was a goal I wanted to achieve.
Now I'm older and I can see through all their lies
and I'm moving on and I'm going to live my life
and there's nothing they can't do.
When I was younger they told me what to do,
Now I'm older and I see all the things I want
and its time to get all the things I want done.

Remember when they told us we had know dreams,
that we could be what ever what we wanted to be,
as long as we chose what they wanted us to be.
