Mitsuki, back from a brief absence, found Ku lacing his shoes, a casual air about him that belied the recent ordeal.  "Ku," Mitsuki began, concern lacing his tone, "where are you off to?  We're supposed to be resting after yesterday, and your arm…"  He gestured to Ku's seemingly recovered limb.

Ku stood, effortlessly slipping on his hat with the arm Mitsuki had just questioned.  "Meeting Kuga and Mikumo," he replied, his voice even. "My arm's fine, thanks to Miku.  I can move it freely now."

Mitsuki started to protest, a "But—" escaping his lips, but Ku cut him short.  "I'll be back early," he stated, the door slamming shut with a finality that echoed Mitsuki's unease.

He stared at the closed door, a whirlwind of emotions – worry, confusion, anger – battling for dominance.  A full minute passed before Shu's voice broke through the silence.  "He's changed, hasn't he?"

Mitsuki simply nodded, his gaze still fixed on the door.  He'd noticed the shift in Ku, the absence of his usual playful smirk.  "Since that new neighbor arrived at school," Mitsuki mused, "he's been…different.  It's been a short time, but the change is drastic."

He finally turned to Shu, the weight of his observation settling in. "It explains things," he said quietly. "Before, Ku rarely left the base except for school or errands. Now, he's out almost every day."

Shu settled onto the couch, a thoughtful expression on his face. "You know," he revealed, "Ku asked me for permission."

Mitsuki looked up, eyebrows raised in interest. "Hm?"

"To join Border,"

Ku stared at his phone as he walked to where Mikumo wanted him to go. Mikumo said he has something important to say so why won't he come? Ku followed where his google map led him.
Mikumo sent it to him cuz he often got lost.

All of a sudden, he heard an alarm go on. Indicating there's a neighbor nearby. He looked to where he saw the gate opened and chose to ignore it instead since the border agents will probably take care of them. When he was near the place, he saw a small girl with short black hair running away from where he was supposed to go. Ku didn't miss the fact that where she was headed was the Forbidden zone. He wondered where the kid was going but chose to ignore it for now.

Ku looked down by the river and saw Yuma with a bicycle. He climbed downstairs and realized he was soaking wet. He came to the conclusion that Yuma probably fell down the river while trying to ride a bike. Typical Yuma.

He walked towards him and looked at where Yuma was looking. Right where the kid from earlier just went. "What's with her? You're not bullying some random kid are you?"

"No, no, no. I'm not a bad guy." Yuma started running after the kid and Ku couldn't help but follow him as Yuma talked to Ku.

"Oh. Hola, Ku" Yuma greeted as Ku kept pace with him. The girl had disappeared but he seemed to have an Idea of where she was going since he didn't slow down.

"Who's she?" Ku asked as they turned a corner

"No idea but she seems nice. She claimed she was waiting for someone too and then she helped me how to ride a bike but I rode into the water." He said, sharply rounding a corner.

"Bicycle? Really?" They stopped as they stood by the Forbidden Zone's gate.

Ku stared over where the Bamster is, he spaced out as he saw some kind of very huge trion of someone. Extraordinarily a very huge amount of trion. Was it the kid? Or another trigger user? Ku got snapped back to reality when Yuma tapped his shoulder, indicating for him
to follow him.
