Yuma and Ku along with Replica spend the night searching for the one responsible for the gates opening outside the Forbidden Zone. Without sleep. Yes. Mikumo wonders how those two shrimp do that. Well it was understandable to Yuma's case but not to Ku. And what the hell is he even doing in the middle of the night with a neighbor in a school??

Mikumo shrugged off the thoughts and walked towards somewhere else. He clearly didn't sleep well last night. The thoughts of Side Effects didn't let him sleep.

But as he started walking away from their house, it seems like he didn't notice the two figures watching him from a distance.

The two are wearing school uniforms so they must be a student. Both look like they're a senior high student too.

One of them who has spiky black hair shakes his drink before he spoke up to his comrade, "That four eye is connected to a Humanoid neighbor? Seriously?" He said in amusement.

"It seems, likely." The one guy who's wearing a scarf chimed in.

"Maybe he's the humanoid neighbor? It makes my tension go through the roof just thinking that maybe I just saw a Humanoid Neighbor for the first time!" The spiky haired boy said, the amusement and excitement never leaving his voice.

"If that were to be true, he'd be a troublesome opponent. Don't let yourself get distracted, Yousuke." The other one told his frend in a stern tone. It looks like his personality was clearly different from his friend, Yousuke, as he spoke coldly.

Before Yousuke could say anything else though, someone from behind the one with scarf spoke up, "Want to eat some Friend Rice Cracker?" The two backed away from the person although when they did, they couldn't help but get shocked at who it was.

"Uooh, Jin-san!?" Yousuke question-shouted at the same time. The look of shock written in his face.

"Hahaha, did I scare you?" Jin, he was tall and has a pleasant face with light-colored eyes, brown hair, light skin, and wears a teal jacket, a white shirt, dark cargo pants with multiple pockets, and dark brown or black boots, plus a brown leather pouch at his hip. In the leather, attached some small color black rectangular object that have green lines along its front and back.

"I came to tell you this. This afternoon there is an important mission, so you have to get back to the base." Jin handed the two students a paper, "Here, this is the directive."

He munched some of his fried rice crackers before he walked off and gave the two a wave, "See ya, take care.." Though the look of irritation and amusement was written on the two students left on the previous spot.

As Jin walked away, he met Mikumo who was waiting for him in the corner of somewhere. He gave him a grin and a wave, "Yo' Four eyes, sorry for the wait."

"Ah, good morning." Jin gave a nod of understanding as the two walked with Jin in the lead.

"So before that, let's talk about the person who knows about the irregular gates origin." Mikumo perked up at the statement, "Do you know some people, Jin-san!?"

Jin gave a childish face while eating his snack and laughed, "No. Not at all."

"...Eh!?"

"But I think you have an acquaintance that does, Four eyes." Jin said and the next thing Mikumo knows is they're in the forbidden zone. Right where Yuma is standing right to where Mikumo saw how Yuma one punched the Bamster on their first day of school.

Yuma turned around with his signature duck face as felt a presence near them. He stood up and out his arms behind his back as he faced the Shocked Mikumo and amused Jin. "Kuga...!?"
