2 weeks later..

From the looks of things Latrelle seems to have calmed down now, thank God. I've distanced myself from him a bit bc why would anyone stay in a place where they're not appreciated?

Who knows he got tired of me or maybe he didn't like hanging with me anymore it's cool tho, I got the message loud and clear, I'm falling back.

We were in the middle of class and Ceaser got a call and ran out leaving everyone wondering what was wrong. I soon later discovered that his brother got locked up and he was facing quite some jail time, some of the charges were drugs (ofc), assault, aggravated assault with a weapon, and he was caught in a shoot out by cctv, reckless driving and kidnapping which was dropped cuz the other wasn't willing to snitch. But it's safe to say Spooky ain't coming out anytime soon 😭 free you my heart.

Maybe I'll go visit him sometime after all we had a nice little friendship or whatever it's not like we're enemies or something.

I was now at home chilling just reading through my school work and talking to Jasmine and Monse on the phone. They filled me in on the latest details regarding the Santos and Spooky.

"What do you mean Ceaser has to step up?! Ceaser as in Ceaser salad, the same guy who literally can't hurt a fly???" I was shocked and confused. "Yess girl, the situation is getting crazy" Yasmine said sounding concerned. "We have to save Ceaser" Monse spoke. "Yeah we need to do something cuz ain't no way-" I was cut off by the sound of something hitting my window. "Hold on I'll hit yall up later" i said before hanging up. I payed closer attention to my window and it happened again it seems like someone is throwing tiny rocks at my window. "What the-?" I opened my window. "What the fuck is wrong with you stop throwing stones at my window before I pour a bucket of cold water on you".

"My bad for trying to be romantic" Latrelle laughed.
"You're such a dumbass you could have rang the bell Yk that" I rolled my eyes.
"Nah that's boring, I wanted to be different."
"What do you want??" I leaned over the window.
"You not gon let me in? No?"
"Ughh fine" I sighed as now I had to walk all the way downstairs to open the door. If it's that important he could have just texted me instead of pulling me out of the comfort of my own bed. As you can tell once I'm laid up in my comfy bed ion wanna hear nothing.

I opened the door and I was greeted by his colone I tried my best not make it too obvious that I was sniffing it😭 he has such nice taste, his hair was freshly done they were half cornrows in the front and twists in the back, he flashed me his signature smile showing off his grillz, my eyes travelled up and down checking him out, from his gold chains to his shoes.. and yeah he looks fine as hell, he always does.

"Why are you here Latrelle?" I shifted my weight to my left leg crossing my arms I needed to look nonchalant even though all i wanted was for him to be all up on me.

"What? So I can't just come check in and spent time with my girl?" He smiled. I almost smiled back but I quickly caught myself.

"Um.. i don't know you tell me, it's funny how now you want to hang but barely 2 weeks ago you were making it seem like I was such a bother, making me seem like such a beg"

"Bruh what??"

"Yes?.. Latrelle don't play with me rn. Did you expect me to carry on putting energy into you? After you acted the way u did hell no." I didn't allow him to get a word in.

"Just stop for a sec-"

I cut him off "-No Latrelle I got the message, no need to be fake nice, you don't need to explain yourself we're good. We're good the way we are, you do you and I'll do me"
