Latrelle invited y/n to his party or a block party, she tried playing it cool but told him that she would come.

Y/n pov:
I just finished tell the whole gang abt Latrelle inviting me to his party, ceased wasn't present thank God.
"WHAT?! YOU- YOU PLANNING ON GOING TO LATTELLE'S PARTY?!" Jamal whisper yelled in my face. "Your breath is hot, but chillllll" I said to Jamal blocking his face with my hand, he then smelled his breath "I ate hot Cheetos earlier". "That checks out😂" i replied. "You know you're basically putting yourself in danger" ruby spoke and Monese aggressively nodded her head in agreement.
"Probably or probably not.. idk he seemed very nice to me, I mean he wouldn't invite me to somewhere if it wasn't safe, right?" I asked trying to make sense of it all. "Come on now girl, you really think he cares abt you you? You literally just met him!! He probably just wants to get in your pants like how he does with the other girls" monse said, i can't lie she's making sense right now. "I personally think you should go, like go get that D girllll" Yasmine said trying to hype me up. "-but be safe tho, I've heard stories so.. on second thought I don't think it's a good idea, your life isn't worth risking for some D, no matter how good it is"
My mind was telling me to listen to my friends but my heart was telling me this is your chance to get closer to Latrelle, but then again my mind was telling me he's not worth it by the sounds of things he's a player and dangerous, two things i shouldn't be mixing with. So i decided to follow my better judgment and not go to the party.

Latrelle and I have been texting here and there since we exchanged numbers on Wednesday, well now it's Friday and I purposely haven't really texted him, I've been seeing him around school especially the hall ways  I tried my best at hiding from him so he wouldn't see me and then ask me if I was coming or not.

The party started at 7, but we close from school by 4:30 and I couldn't risk him catching up to me as I left school, so I purposely got myself a detention and joined a random after school club. So by the time I'd be leaving school it would be 6:30'and by then Latrelle would be long gone. After today he's probably going to forget abt me, yk he's probably going to get with some girl or whatever but hey it's none of my business what I need to focus on is executing my plan to perfection.

In order to get in trouble I decided to have an argument with my least favourite teacher, I purposely acted out in class, my friends were looking at me weird bc this isn't like me and I told them that i would explain everything later in the meantime they should start shouting 'Free y/n it's backwards' cuz shit's abt to get real

"Ms Ball why do you keep on telling me off? Like I get that your life is miserable but why do you have to take it out on me" I said to my teacher.
"EXCUSE ME?" Ms Ball's head turned to look at me with shock.
"You heard me ms, instead of taking your misery and insecurities out on me how about you work on yourself" oh my days I'm pushing it now😭😩.
"YOUNG LADY IF YOU WANT TO SPEND THE REST OF YOUR FRIDAY EVENING AT DETENTION I SUGGEST YOU STOP THAT RIGHT NOW" Ms Ball angrily said turning red. One last push..😭
"You see here we go again this is what I'm talking about instead of you to be asking me for advice you're here trying to punish me for speaking the truth. The truth is bitter in a world full of lies😔. But if you do want any pointers I'd say start by singing up to the gym-"
"-THATS IT GET OUT OF MY CLASSROOM" Ms Ball said interrupting me before I could even finish my sentence.
"Gladly." I said rolling my eyes and getting my things together, the class room erupted in laughter and many said "oooh personally if that was me ms ball I wouldn't take that" adding fuel to the fire, everyone including my friends were lowkey glad someone put Ms Ball in her place, but now I have to go face the consequences.

It was 4:30 I entered the detention room. "Please come to the front and sign the register, to mark that you were really here, I'll get yall to sign another register in the end" the detention lady spoke. I went to the front to sign my name and I can't believe Ms Ball gave me a 2 HOUR detention like is that even allowed 😩 yall this is what I'm talking about that lady is so miserable, well at least I don't have to carry out my second part of my plan.
