A.N. Hey dolls! Welcome to Hymn to Virgil. This plot has been in my mind ever since I went to see Gladiator II, I'm such a fan of the movies and a major history buff so it felt fitting.
Let me preface this by saying that a lot of the history knowledge I'm using may not be 100% accurate but I will do my best. Being Scottish myself I'm hoping I can at least pin down that side of things and with recently finishing my first year of my classics degree my knowledge is slowly progressing. (Although most of the plot of this is inspired by books and myths I've read if you're a classics nerd you'll probably find some references)
