Ku's eyes narrowed slightly, a hint of suspicion in his gaze. "These are easy. Are you planning something?" he asked, his voice laced with subtle doubt. Yuma responded with a dismissive wave of his hands.  "No, no. Not at all."

Ku's response was immediate and precise. "The second one is the truth; the rest are lies."  His glasses reflected the dim light of the hallway, his expression betraying nothing.

"Ohh, that's right. Your turn," Yuma conceded, a hint of amusement in his tone.

Ku considered his options, choosing his words carefully.  "Hmm. One: I don't like arrogant people. Two: I don't like gaming. Three: I don't like stars." He paused, watching Yuma's reaction.  Yuma's expression remained unreadable, a friendly yet unamused neutrality.

"Hey, that's not fair. Play fairly," Yuma protested, a playful edge to his complaint. Ku shrugged his uninjured arm, a simple, "I am," in response.

Yuma sighed, conceding defeat. "Hmph. Fine. The first one is the truth. The others are lies."

"How'd you know?" Ku asked. Yuma stopped himself from saying 'I detected the lie' as it will ruin the game because he himself, forgot he can detect lies, and unconsciously asked Ku to play that game.  "Well," he continued, "you like gaming; I've seen that ever since I transferred here yesterday. You seem to like the stars too; I don't know why, but your eyes reminded me of them. And how you reacted to Kitora earlier shows you don't like arrogant people."

Ku hummed thoughtfully. "Makes sense."

Yuma, seemingly changing the subject, added, "But y'know, Kitora's not that bad."  Ku looked at him, a mixture of confusion and curiosity in his eyes.  "Well, yes, she was a little arrogant, but she's just letting her emotions take over her. She does her job very well, too, and she seems kind. Someone just needs to break that barrier of hers."  The conversation continued, their footsteps echoing through the silent halls of the school.

Ku nodded slowly, considering Yuma's words.  Kitora, the stern and seemingly unapproachable school disciplinary officer, had indeed been rather harsh during their first encounter.  But Yuma's perspective offered a different angle, a glimpse beneath the surface of Kitora's prickly exterior.  "Maybe," Ku murmured, "though I doubt she'd appreciate being told that."

Yuma grinned, "I agree. Alright, it's my turn again!" Yuma put a finger under his chin, "Let's see.. Osamu defeated the Marmords at the school earlier, Kitora defeated the Ilgar at the earlier fight, Osamu helped the people evacuate earlier at the Ilgard's attack. So which one???"

"Mhm. That's also easy, the last one is the truth, the rest are lies." Ku answered. Yuma grinned at him. "How so?"

"Well, the first one is really obvious since you defeated the Marmords in front of me earlier at the school, the second one too because it was you who defeated it. The last one was pretty obvious because he was on the news." Ku answered, a little too quickly for him to notice a small flaw.

"Hmmm? How did you know I defeated the Ilgar?" Yuma turned to him with a curious look.

"Kitora's strong I know that. But her reckless actions can take a downfall sometimes. Not to hide the fact that I saw from the corner of my eyes when the Ilgar started falling towards us and how you and Replica put a chain under the Ilgar to avoid suspicion because if you used some kind of attack, who knows, you might alert the border. Most likely if you did the same thing as yesterday when you broke it into pieces." Ku explained, as if telling the obvious.
