"Jin," the silhouette's voice was a low growl, barely audible above the tempest, "Are you done?" He placed a hand on his hip, the gesture seemingly casual, yet radiating an aura of lethal potential. Jin turned, his face breaking into a smile that was chilling in its lack of warmth. "It appears like my services are required and is needed immediately," he said, his voice smooth and even. He turned to the silhouette with a grin. "Wanna go with me? Without HQ seeing you of course."
The silhouette offered no verbal response, a smirk twisting his lips. "Not really. I'd rather stay hidden for a while," he said, his eyes glinting in the dim light. "However, our team's little walking sunflower would probably like to." The implication hung heavy in the air, a promise of further violence yet to come.

After Kitora took care of the ungrateful civilians, she found Mikumo and Yuma and is now taking Mikumo to the Border. By now the sun has set and is pretty dark out now. They talked about something like Yuma praising Kitora cuz she defeated the Ilgar. Kitora not accepting the praise because she said she's not the one who did it. Yuma's point of view about Kitora changing. Soon enough they reached the base
Kitora puts her trigger up to the wall and it activates something which activates something else and opens the door. An automated voice spoke up. "Trigger identified. A direct route to HQ will open."
"So triggers are the keys to the entrance of the base." Yuma pointed out the obvious.
Kitora looked back. "That's right. Only border agents can go past here."
"Well, looks like I'm off. Let us know if you need anything." Yuma said waving goodbye to Osamu.
He nodded. "I will."
And with that he's gone.
The city air, usually thick with the clamor of life, had thinned to a quiet hum as night settled in. Yuma, lost in conversation with Replica, hadn't noticed the sun dip below the horizon.
He only realized it was night when the moon, a brilliant disc in the inky sky, cast long, sharp shadows across the pavement. The dark blue canvas above was dusted with stars, a few fluffy clouds drifting lazily across their celestial expanse.
He paused on a bridge, the cool night air a welcome contrast to the lingering warmth of the day. He can't help but think how beautiful Japan's sky can be. He stood there for a while, the silence broken only by the gentle lapping of water against the bridge's supports and the quiet hum of Replica's commentary in his mind.
Finally, a sense of purpose sharpened his focus. He turned and headed towards their damaged school, the familiar route now eerily quiet.
He had a task in mind, something he needed to do, something Replica and him was interested in finding. The school loomed before him, a skeletal structure against the moonlit sky, a stark reminder of the Marmords attack.
And there, amidst the rubble and debris, stood Ku, as still and silent as a statue. The unexpected encounter jolted Yuma from his quiet contemplation.
He stopped, a question forming on his lips, but before he could speak, Ku's gaze shifted, and their eyes met across the desolate expanse of their ruined schoolyard.
"I figured you would go here." Ku trailed off while walking towards Yuma who have a ( =▽= ) expression, he paused Infront of him. "What I didn't expect is for you to be here in the middle of the night."
