A/N: Writer's block sucks holy moly

"Hey, Vi?" Claggor says to his sister as she walks into the main room. It's around midday, so the sunlight shines onto the ground through the window. However, it somehow manages to avoid Vi.
Vi, hands in her pockets, turns her gaze to Claggor: "What's up, Claggor?" Her voice was sterner than before, but this was her normal voice now.
Claggor puts down the pen in his hand, resting his hand on it: "Have you spoken to Vander today? Or Silco?"
Vi hadn't come home last night, staying at Caitlyn's house. She shakes her head: "No, why?"
Powder bursts through the door: "Vi! Silco went to Batsor, with Sevika, and they found the detonator"
Claggor lets out a small laugh in reaction to being cut off before taking back the conversation: "It was undamaged, implying that y/n was out of the blast radius"
Silco, Vander, Sevika, Ekko and Powder still held hope that you had survived but Vi, Claggor and Mylo agreed to start grieving early. "Is that so?" Vi believes Powder but would rather not develop hope, fearing disappointment.
Claggor on the other hand can't help but relish in the flicker of hope this gives

You sit at your desk, rolling herbs into a thin dart before loading them into a compartment on your belt. This process is a daily necessity for each job, unable to afford lacklustre equipment.
Felicia's perfume temporarily dissipates Zaun's putrid smell as she walks in, fur coat wrapped around her shoulders: "Client's bumbling seemed like he was impressed. We made some good money today"
You close a drawer containing your equipment: "He didn't like the finger but he's not gonna be spilling secrets"
She walks over and elegantly leans on your shoulder: "Well, I've got another job for you, after tonight's fight" You didn't like it when she would pick fights for you. "Go to the Pardido after the fight" She waits for a second "But for now, rest up"
You couldn't argue, you just nodded: "Go to the Pardido for?"
She smiles at your blind obedience: "Tall, slim woman wearing a hood and cloak. She'll be in the booth furthest from the door"

In an alleyway on the other side of Zaun, Mylo sits opposed to three men. Cards are in their hands, Mylo's hope gets the better of him as he slams them down. Only to see his debt grow taller. The opposing force laughs at him as he stands back up: "How much do I owe you?" he sighs, mentally preparing for more than he has.
The largest of the opposition smirks: "More than you have, Kid. You've got three days to bring me something of value"
Mylo gulps before nodding. He turns around and goes home to find some form of aid from his family. His head heavy with each step.

Vi sips on her drink as her knuckles heal from another day of vigilante work. She leans her back against the bar, watching Powder and Ekko fight bugs on the table. She's joined by Vander: "I hope they clean that up before we open"
Vi waits a moment before responding: "Let's be honest, they won't"
They watch as Powder's beetle topples Ekko's. Cheering comes from both sides. Vi smiles at the scene before Vander speaks again: "Mylo out gambling?"
