Chapter 16

The Training Continues

Three days had passed in their physical training regime and each member could feel the difference, stinging in their body. The presence of Babita Ji had awoken a passion in both KS and Haseena to strive forward with dedication making their mentor proud.

As Haseena stepped into the MPT after the training, all members stood and greeted her. Haseena saluted BJ as her eyes settled on a woman seated near Puspha Ji's table.

"Who's this?" she asked.

Puspha Ji stepped forward. "Madam Sir she's here to write a complaint but she's insisting that she'll only talk to you."

Haseena nodded and sat down in the chair gently leaning forward. Her hands lightly brushed the woman's and she looked up, her face strewn with tears.

"Puspha Ji, bring a glass of water."

Haseena waited patiently as she finished drinking. "Tell me what the matter is?" Haseena asked her voice gentle.

"Madam Sir....I'm Shrinidi. I've fallen into a scam. I donated money to an online charity but then...." She paused breaking down. Puspha Ji edged closer, keeping a hand on her shoulder. "Last week I found out that it was a scam. The account is gone and so is my money."

"Do you remember the name of the person?"

"Haan madam, it was a Shreya Gopal."

Haseena looked at SS who immediately took out her phone and began searching.

"Madam Sir...look at this" SS said showing her an Instagram account. "Shreya Gopal is an Instagram influencer and a model." SS scrolled up to show a post requesting funds for a charity. "This is the post that Ms. Shrinidhi is talking about. It has already gained a lot of views madam sir."

"Aarey who is this insane lady cheating people for money" KS yelled.

"Calm down KS" Haseena ordered. "Greed makes people commit unforgivable crimes."

She looked at Shrinidi. "Do you have any proof?"

She fished her phone and showed her a collection of screenshots and images.

"That's good" Haseena commented as she stood up.

"Puspha Ji write down her complaint. SS track down Shreya's online activity and gather as much evidence as you can...." she paused. "And CC issue a notice to all her followers. We need more evidence."

As the team set about their tasks, Haseena edged closer to Babita Ji.

"Haseena madam, this case won't be easy to solve. She's an influencer. She'll set aside our complaints with her power."

Haseena nodded the thought already forming in her mind. "Haan Babita Ji. We need evidence against her." She looked at her mentor. "And madam, I'll need your guidance."

Babita Ji nodded as KS stood next to her. "Madam Sir....let's not wait around. I'll drag her down to the station."

Haseena turned at KS, her eyes burning. "KS, we need evidence. Not violence."

"But...."

"You will do nothing KS. That's an order" she commanded as she stormed off to her cabin.

KS balled her fists, her jaw clenching and she stormed off to her table.

Babita Ji followed her a moment later, staring silently at KS. She was fidgeting with her fingers and cracking her knuckles. It took a minute but as KS saw Babita Ji, she immediately stood up.
