A yo-kai Christmas

Start from the beginning

Statiking: Huh, fair point.

Draggie: Awwight, so who is this guy?

Saint Trick: I'm here to give all you honest folks some well-deserved presents.

The three yo-kai huddled themselves as Statiking gave them the rundown.

Statiking: Okay, boys, here's the skinny. He's got three bags, all with presents inside. One will be incredible, one will be mediocre, and the last one is...somewhere in between.

Draggie: Hey, why don't we each pick one? That way we'ww make the wed weiwdo's job that much easier.

Signibble: Good plan, Drags. See you on the mediocre side.

The three then turned back to Ol' Saint Trick to pick their presents.

Saint Trick: Ready for your presents now?

The father and son nodded only to find that Draggie was trying to use his crystal ball to pry into the future.

Draggie: Just gimme a sec...

Siggy/King: Draggie.

Draggie: Okay.

The three each took a bag and looked at what was inside.

Statiking: Hey, a brand new non-stick frying pan.

Signibble: It's an electric blanket! Zap! I can make use of this.

Draggie: Wow. It's a sawtooth stag beetwe. I awways wanted a pet.

Signibble: Welp, sorry for your loss, Drags.

Draggie: What do you mean?

Statiking pulled his son close and whispered to him.

Statiking: Just let him have his moment, boy. He seems happy.

Surely enough Draggie was happy with his new pet. The way it crawled over his body made him giggle with glee.

Signibble: Fine.

Saint Trick: Looks like my job here is done. Fare thee well.

Drags/Siggy/King: Merry Christmas.

With that Ol' Saint Trick floated out of the house and onto his next stop of the night. But little did he know someone was watching him.

The next stop on Ol' Saint Trick's list was a cozy little place in Shopper's Row. In a mall where yo-kai make their home when the humans go home, Panja Pupil and Komajiro are in a video rental store watching some old holiday movies.

Panja Pupil: So you see, Jiro, folks like watchin' these flicks for the holidays.

Komajiro: But why's this a romance movie? In fact, why's so many of these involve romance?
