Not gonna be much sad stuff, it's gonna be a tame chapter..... hopefully. Maybe.

Warnings: fighting, name tattooing, wholesome stuff, cuddling, literally cute shit just like- cute things with Vi and reader, nightmares

A/N:it's nothing but cute things bc I seem to only be good at writting that.... occasionally. If y'all have ideas for the next chapter, I'm open to anything. Also, paper rings is the only song I listen to from Taylor Swift, aside from "Florida!" In her tortured poets department album.

~•|NO ONES POV|•~

You're still stuck at the Kiramman residence and let's just say it's not exactly fun. But you've....warmed up?  Is that the word?

You could care less but you've warmed up to Vi who's taking care of your after Caitlyn's little fit that lasted a while. You still have nightmares about her and what she did.

You swear you can still feel that very sharply cut bullet digging into your thigh as she carved her name into you. You had to watch poor Emra get a portion on her ear sliced off and you still can hear her cries of mercy before Grayson pulled Caitlyn off her.

You had called Emra a good week after the incident and she said she was doing ok, just extremely scared. Vander refused to accept Caitlyn after that. VI was still his "daughter" so he hasn't tried forcing her to leave Caitlyn.

But anyway.

You laid in Vi's bed, well her old room in the manor at least. She was cleaning the cut while disinfecting a spot below it so she could tattoo her name on it. You thought it was cute she wanted to do that, though you knew she did it out of possession.

"Soo...have you tried, you know...." She started, trailing off and getting her tattoo gun ready.
"No...I haven't tried talking to Caitlyn yet...I feel bad but what she did...it was...scary so." You mumbled, not flinching when she started to tattoo "Violets pumpkin" in bold pink lettering on your thigh.

You actually didn't mind this, if only Caitlyn had done this instead of carving, but then again it's Caitlyn sooo...

Sooner or later, you two were cuddled up, sleeping when Caitlyn came in and VI shot up, looking at Caitlyn and glaring.

~•|VI'S POV|•~

"Caitlyn....what do you need?" I asked, keeping quiet so I didn't wake [NAME].
"To apologize..." She whispered, glancing at [NAME].

I sighed before shaking my head. "She doesn't want to see you, get out." I said firmly, kissing [NAME]'s shoulder. Me and Caitlyn went back and forth for a while, before Caitlyn reluctantly left, leaving me alone with [NAME].

I was gonna keep them safe till they wanted to be around Caitlyn again, if not I'll have to help her get used to Caitlyn again and stop being scared.

~•|END OF VI'S POV||start of no one's POV again|•~

You started having another nightmare, it was about VI this time.

You were tied to a chair again, Caitlyn kneeled in front of you and carving into your thigh while Vi laughed at your cries of pain. She gave you cruel looks and called you such horrible degrading names in your native tongue. All while pushing the sharpened bullet deeper into your thigh.

This dream like version of Vi seemed to relish in your screams and cries, stating that:

"You look so pretty when you cry, Hündin." Then would slap you. (Kinda like in the original AU, bc this has zero ties to arcane.)

You awoke screaming and crying, which woke up Vi. She held you close, shushing you and telling your safe. You cried and cried till you couldn't and fell back asleep.

The next few weeks were filled with baking, trying to teach Vi how to cook, her trying to teach you to bake ECT ECT. Your favorite one had to be trying to make yourselves into cookies, which failed miserably. They still tasted good though.

You had a feeling it wouldn't last, but you were willing to make it last as long as possible.
