Chapter 3: The Swift Turnaround

Just then she remembered that Brianne was at the restaurant because of what she heard on the phone. Kenji never went to the restaurant! This made her happy but also sad for Brianne as a result. Meanwhile Brianne was looking outside and was frustrated as the server questioned if he was coming. She kept waiting and waiting until it was clear he was a no show.

Brianne: Huhhh well I guess my charm didn't rub off on him. How does a man not have dinner with me though. I'm stunning and absolutely beautiful, I don't get it.

She then got up and walked out, disgusted with him. How could he not show, what did she do wrong to upset him?

Brianne: it's not fair, he should have come here!! Something is going that's for sure.

Just then Kakunsa saw Kenji coming out of the bank. She jumped right near him, which surprisingly shocked Kenji.

Kenji: Woah you scared me! Wait is there any crime near by??!!!

Kakunsa: *Giggles* No silly, it's just me. The fantastic Kakunsa at your service.

Kenji: sorry I'm more depressed than before it's just. See my landlord got pissed because I was late on payment and he wants payments directly through my bank. The guy is a real pain in the ass.

Kakunsa: Every time I think of Rent I always think of that rent dude from Spider man he he!

Kenji: Yeah, You will get your rent when you fix this damn door!!! Such an iconic meme!!

Kakunsa: Thats actually one of my favorite movies actually, I always liked the romance between Mary Jane and Peter Parker.

The two Discussed their favorite moments from their favorite movies and shows. They had a lot in common which made them both laugh. Kakunsa then mentioned how she met little Billy.

Kenji: Oh was he out again? Ughhh I keep telling Billy to not go out alone but he still does it everytime.

Kakunsa: I guess that's what it's like to have a little brother he he.

At that moment Kenji noticed how lively Kakunsa was. He always loved how bright and amazing she was. She was cute in all of the right ways. However he doubted himself again as per usual. He thought there was no way Kakunsa could even be possible as a partner, thinking she was out of his league. He ultimately shrugged it off and suddenly remembered Brianne.

Kenji: Oh my God!!!

Kakunsa: Huhhh, wait what is it?

Kenji: Did I seriously leave her there??!!!!!!!

Kakunsa: I'm confused.

Kenji: Well me and that Brianne girl had plans to eat at this restaurant. It was really classy and I told her I would go but I forgot. I guess I got too swept up in my rent stuff.

She then realized that this was a great opportunity to interject and ask him out. Brianne was clearly not getting the date she wanted so she went for it.

Kakunsa: Well, are you still hungry?!!

Kenji: Ummm I guess so.

Kakunsa: Well let's go then, they have tons of places this way!

Kenji: But I don't have much cash on me. I think its best you go without me.

Kakunsa: No I got this for you!! Don't worry Little Kenji, the wonderful Kakunsa will make sure you get the food you want!!

Pure happiness was all he could feel. Also Kakunsa felt nothing but Joy. Everything made a swift turnaround. Brianne was now far behind Kakunsa at getting Kenji's affection and she didn't like that at all. Soon their duties became second as all Brianne and Kakunsa could think about was Kenji. The two of them then got a nice meal of soup and chicken at their local restaurant. It was delicious and Kakunsa was having the time of her life. After eating, Kenji was happy and grateful for what Kakunsa did for him.

Kenji: Thank you so much, I really appreciate it! But ummm next time we do this, can you be your normal self?!!

Kakunsa was shocked to hear this, only a few people knew she could transform. Sure some people did but it wasn't much.

Kenji: I mean just the way your acting tells me your in your hero mode which is amazing. But I want to know the true you, you know.

Kakunsa: Umm yes I got that. So you do know that this was a transformation?

Kenji: Yes, I don't exactly know what you look like so I'm curious.

She then got nervous as she thinks that her regular form as Sanka won't be enough. In her original look, she is much thinner and doesn't have the curves that she has as Kakunsa. So she was nervous to show her true self but Kenji wanted it so she agreed that she would show him next time.

Kakunsa: Yes Kenji, we can do this again sometime. I will be my normal self as well. I just don't know if you will like it, but I will try.

Kenji: That doesn't matter to me, I just want you okay.

She absolutely loved this, the emotions came flooding back. It was clear that the love she felt was pure and prominent. This was why she likes him. He is nice, cute and someone that she sees herself with forever. This made her blush wildly as Brianne looked at them far off. She knew she was behind but that didn't change the fact that Brianne wanted him as well. However two girls couldn't date one guy, so one was going to win over the other. Brianne then grinned as she walked away.

What was her intentions this time?
