Chapter 3: The Swift Turnaround

After some time had passed, Sanka couldn't stop thinking about Kenji. Also she started to get angry as Brianne seemed to snatch him from her in no time. It was clear that she had intentions on dating Kenji which didn't sit well with her. Overall though it was extremely quiet so she tried to take this opportunity to relax. With no crime or anything going on, she did exactly that. catching up on some rom com's and playing some Nintendo switch. Her favorite game was persona as she played lots of persona 5 and got deep within the world. She then heard her phone ring and saw it was Bikal.

Sanka: Yellow!!

Bikal: Hi there, how are you doing? Is everything going good?

Sanka: Well I'm just chilling mostly, there hasn't been much to do in the city at all. So yes I guess you could say it's been good.

Bikal: Awesome, by the way I ran into that Kenji guy you told me about and I got his number. Would you like to talk to him?

Without hesitation Sanka answered with a resounding yes!

Sanka: Oh my, that would be awesome Bikal!!! Yes I would love to speak to him!!

Bikal: Sure thing, I will text you his number.

Sanka: How did you run into him?

Bikal: Well I was doing some early duty when I spotted him not far from the inner district. I knew it was him as he had the big farm coat he was wearing and that's when I talked to him. He is an extremely nice guy.

Sanka: Thank you so much Bikal, your the best.

After hanging up with her she immediately called Kenji. It kept ringing until it eventually stopped. She was aware that he might be busy so she left a voice mail and texted him. She didn't know that his phone wasn't a mobile cell, it was still a house phone on a traditional phone line. Sanka was wanting him to answer but he never did so she left and decided to go to his place. She remembered where it was and traveled in no time after she transformed. He was not at his farm ranch as expected, that's when she saw his phone ringing. Upon picking up, she heard Brianne on the line.

Brianne: Hello Kenji, I was just wondering if you were on your way here to the restaurant? I'm at our table already!

Kakunsa was not happy at hearing her voice as she quickly hung up. She then shook it off as it was clear she was distracted by these emotions. Besides, going all the way to his house was not practical. Thats when she heard a faint yell outside of the house. After running outside, she looked and saw a boy getting attacked by a wild animal.

Kakunsa: Hey you stupid beast, I'm the one you need to fear he he!!!

Little Boy: Please help me!!!

The wild wolf like animal leaped towards Kakunsa but she wasn't scared at all. Putting her foot down and hissing straight back. The wolf was intimidated by her as it saw her as a threat, eventually running away.

Kakunsa: Are you okay little guy?!!!

Little Boy: Yes I am, hey my big brother told me about you.

Kakunsa: Huh, he did??!

Billy: Yes, I'm sorry but my name is Billy. My big brother Kenji is amazing. He always works too hard though.

Kakunsa was happy that Kenji talked about her. It showed that he cared about her somewhat and it was just enough. That's all she needed to know to make her happy and meeting one of his family members was the cherry on top.

Kakunsa: That's so sweet Billy, hey where did your brother go?

Billy: He went to the bank, saying he forgot to buy or something. I'm not too sure about the adult stuff you know.
