You followed suit after, smiling softly as VI relaxed against you, her breath caressing your neck in a soft, gentle touch.

~•|one month later|•~

You sat at a coffee shop, enjoying some hot cocoa while you're girlfriend enjoyed a chocolate croissant.

"Hungry..?" You asked, smiling when she nodded still stuffing her face with the croissant.
"Mhm- this is g'mhp" she said, swallowing the food in her mouth and whining when you take away the rest of it. "Pumpkin..." She said, giving you her puppy eyes.
"Not gonna work on me." You said, but handed back the rest of it to which she scarfed down like a dog.

You laughed, handed her a napkin to which she took and cleaned herself up with. You loved Vi with all your heart, and she did the same but sometimes she was a little obnoxious. But you still loved her for it.

Soon you two left, walking hand in hand around Piltover and looking at all the sights the city of progress had to offer. You bumped into a man, who looked down at you and immediately started trying to flirt.

You were unimpressed like always and gave Vi a look, who was silently seething in anger.

"Sir, please I'm not interested go find someone else to seduce." You said, waving the man off.
"Come on...you seriously can't expect me to not want a piece of you. Flash me a tit and I'll leave." He said, a shit eating grin on his face.
"300$ in cash and I'll do it." You said.

The man started stuttering and stumbling over his words, clearly he wasn't expecting that. But he just kinda walked away, his head hung in shame after realizing he's not gonna get anything.

VI was still silently seething and you took her back home, knowing just him to calm her.

You laid Vi on the bed, laying next to her and tracing shapes on her back. You hummed a soft tune and trailed your hands down her back, kissing her forehead and rubbing her hips. She sighed and hid in your neck, jealousy rolling off her in waves.

The radio on your bedside table played 'A little death' by the neighborhood softly. You smiled softly when she relaxed and fell against you, you leaned back.

This was heaven, and it felt like nothing could go wrong....right?

~•|Caitlyns POV|•~

I never would have thought that I'd have to do this. I sat on a rooftop, my gun pointed towards Vi. The window was wide open and I knew I had to take the shot. It's not supposed to kill her. Just make her fearl enough to make [NAME] leave her...break her...leave her open to pain.

I loaded the shimmer bullet into my gun, pointed it at the window then sighed, taking the shot and it hit VI. It was only a matter of time before it kicked in. I left the scene before [NAME] saw me.

~•|no one's POV|•~

The bullet hit VI in the side and she winced as the shimmery liquid entered her system and she groaned, rolling off you and breathing heavily.

"Shit....wha-" she huffed, looking over at you. You looked at her in concern, holding up her face with both your hands.
"Baby...what's going on?." You asked, rubbing her cheek and gasping when her eyes were purple.

It was a blur after that. Yelling, screaming, you struggling to calm Vi, crying, you breaking your arm ECT ECT.

Hours later you were breathing heavily while Vi laid passed out on the bed. You knew it was Caitlyn, and you would deal with her later. Your girlfriend was more important, no matter what.

VI woke up a few days later, looking at you and then at your arm that was in a cast. "Did i-?"
"Yeah...it's ok baby, it wasn't you..." You said, kissing her shoulder. She relaxed, holding you close and being mindful of your arm.

You two stayed like that for a while. Vi basked in your presence, she hated herself for hurting you but she believed that you were ok... mentally at least.

After all, she was addicted to you...you and your sickly sweetness could never keep her from you.

Y'all the last act actually broke me. I'm in tears still. WE GOT CAITVI BUT AT WHAT COST 😭

But there's a theory that jinx might still be alive, but we'll never know bc it's all over. Also, CAITVI SESBIAN LEX SCENE 🤩 I have it on repeat bc it's that good. And before y'all say anything, it's bc I've been waiting for this and I'm actually so happy we got it.
