(Vi's POV)
"Cait I can't wear this" I drop it as I back away. "You can show them that not all of Zaun supports Jinx.. We can show them" Caitlyn says, I hear a gasp I turn to see Taija, horrified... Betrayed... I wasn't going to join but.. It could be an option.
"Taija, Wait, it's not!" Before I could finish she runs away, fuck... She's not gonna forgive this one... I sigh, Caitlyn walks up behind me, I say "I watched them kill my parents.. And hers... Do you have any idea how that feels!?" I turn to her backing away, how could she be so insensitive!?
"Yes! I do!" Caitlyn argues as she looks down, I look away, she doesn't understand. "I thought you were on our side" she says, I huff, is she serious right now!? "you didn't think at all" say back and I walk out.
(Taija's POV)
I run back to the base, on the high ledge sitting hugging my legs to my chest. A hear Jinx walk in with isha, they had food, "SWEETY I'M HOMEEEEE" she mocks in some proper man voice, I huff into a small smile. I jump down and land on the desk, then I sit down.
"When will you drop that terrible voice act" I chuckle, Jinx pats my cheek, "Why when it makes your LAUGH, and you know I like hearing your laugh." She says staring at my eyes and my facial features. "Do you?" "yeah" we go back and forth. Then she makes a genuine smile.
"You're finally up" The orange hair girl said, "Yes Skipper I'm up, go play" I pat her head as she runs out and goes with the Zaun kids.
Jinx walks away to go off "Can I come?" I ask facing a deep feeling she was gonna say no, she looks back at me, "I don't know why you wouldn't" She says like it's obvious I was going to go with her anywhere anyway..
I get up and walk with her.
~After 20 minutes of walking~
We made it to our old hide out, "Why are we here?" I ask looking around, my boots making crunch sound as I step on the broken glass. "Oh just a few things" Jinx speeds around the arcade taking things and put it in a blanket.
I was sitting on the couch, reading a book is when I felt like the air around me getting thin. I start to cough more and more Jinx looks over to me then her herself start to cough, we get into different hiding spots.
I see 4 people with guns and 1 with Atlas Gauntlet.... I cover my mouth coughing quietly. My fist balls up in anger....
Vi.....
The whisper and laughing became louder in my head, I couldn't think straight with the fog clogging my lungs.
Jinx and I meet up in the same hiding spots, I turn on the arcade to throw them off. Jinx made it out, I passed out before I could reach the door.
Damnit!
GET UP!
I gasp as I shot my body up sitting up, Jinx holds my back. I cough as my eyes water, "Be strong for me" Jinx says as she helps me out the door, her eyes were red and watering, she keeps her mask on my mouth so I can breathe.
When we got out she layed me down in bed as she gets herself together. I could help but cough and rub my eyes, She checks on me and she puts warm cloth on my forehead,"Rest, Glitchy Bug, I have everything under control." Jinx says brushing her thumb on my cheek. Then she walks out.
Why would Vi do this?
