"What did they say to you?" Seraphina said leaning forward and giving his hand a little squeeze.

Evan gave her hand a little squeeze back and rubbed his thumb across the back of her hand. "Just that if I knew what was good for me then I would steer clear of you." He explained and Seraphina just sighed shaking her head a little.

"I told them there wasn't a chance in hell that was happening. I like you Seraphina and no one else is going to get in the way of that." He promised and Seraphina's face softened just a little at his words.

"I'm sorry they threatened you. It won't happen again, I'll make sure of it." She promised him sincerely.

"No, no it's alright my pet. Let them send all the threats they want." He said to her softly.

"They shouldn't be threatening you or trying to fight you at all. I'm sorry, truly. I'll talk to them, it won't happen again." She promised.

Evan pulled her hand up to his lips and kissed it gently. "They're just jealous, pay them no mind. I don't, they can do whatever they want to me. Nothing is going to keep me from you." He told her gently.

Seraphina's heart just about exploded and she was sure her cheeks were about as pink as the pink tablecloth on the table in front of them. "I'm really glad they didn't scare you away." She whispered.

"Riddle and Nott can make all the threats they want. All I care about is that you are mine." Evan told her with a smile and mine she was undeniably his from that point on.

After they had finished their date at Madam Puddifoot's they spent the rest of the afternoon, just wandering around Hogsmeade and talking about anything that came to mind. Seraphina couldn't remember the last time she had a better afternoon. There was something about Evan, that had her completely head over heels for him by the time they had gotten back to the common room. She didn't want their date to end.

"Sit with me at breakfast tomorrow." He whispered in her ear as they walked into the common room. His arm was snaked around her waist, making it look like they were joined at the hip, that's how close they were.

Seraphina smiled and nodded at him "Absolutely." She told him softly.

Evan smiled and leaned down to kiss her, pulling her close to his body as Seraphina wrapped her arms around his neck. She didn't care who in the common room was watching them. They didn't exist to her, for all she knew she and Evan were the only people in the whole world. He finally broke their kiss and leaned his forehead against hers.

"Tomorrow then." He whispered and she smiled and nodded.

"Tomorrow." She agreed and he kissed her forehead, letting her go.

She looked up at him like he had put all the stars in the sky. She thought her heart might burst out of her chest at the way that Evan looked at her. He smirked, giving her a wink before he turned and headed towards the stairs to his dormitory.

Seraphina didn't realize it, but her friends were still sitting on the couches in the common room. They had watched the whole thing play out. Evan looked over at Theo and Mattheo as he passed, giving them a wink. Theo and Mattheo both glared at him, knowing full well that little display was for them and his own amusement.

Seraphina didn't have a clue and just watched him walk away in a lovesick haze as he made his way back to his dormitory. Evan didn't look back at her once but that didn't matter to her, she was too busy replaying their afternoon back in her head.

"I think she's in love." Enzo snickered as he nudged Blaise who just chuckled.

Seraphina snapped out of her haze and looked over at her friends who were watching her. All except Mattheo.
