"Well, look who is finally back," Pansy smirked as Seraphina walked through the door.

"How'd she torture you and Potter?" Lorenzo said with a laugh.

Seraphina's smile just barely faltered as she put her bag down and sat next to Pansy on the couch.

"She just made us write lines. You should see her office, she's barking." Seraphina laughed looking over at her friends.

"The damn thing is covered in bloody cats. They whined more than, Potter." She added and her friends laughed.

Seraphina looked around the room. "Where's Nott?" she asked, looking over at Lorenzo, who shrugged a little.

"He left shortly after you did and hasn't returned. He's probably pacing the grounds or hopefully found someone to occupy his mind for a bit." He said to her, not worried because Theo did need to blow off some steam.

"Well, I suppose it can wait until morning, " she said, looking at Mattheo, who was reading over her essay and his notes again.

"Is it really that bad, Riddle?" Seraphina asked and Mattheo looked over at her and smirked as he got up and handed over her scroll.

"You might get that 'Outstanding' you want if you follow my notes exactly as they are. Otherwise, you're doomed." He said sarcastically.

Seraphina laughed rolling her eyes at him "And you say I'm one for dramatics." She said playfully as she read over his notes.

Seraphina had to be up before the sun for Quidditch practice. Which offered a good distraction from the throbbing pain that she was still feeling in her hand. She was relieved that the bleeding had stopped overnight. That was until right at the end of practice when Crabbe wasn't paying attention and hit her broom with his bat causing her to hit the wound and re-open it as she slid across the grass.

The only positive was the accident meant that she could play it off as a Quidditch injury without it raising any suspicions since there were multiple eye-witnesses. Seraphina hoped that she would wake up with a clear head and a more well-crafted story but a Quidditch injury would just have to do.

Seraphina carefully bandaged her hand after she was out of the shower, she didn't want to make it start bleeding again and her hand was now more sore than it was when she got up that morning. She threw an extra bandage in her bag as she walked out of her dormitory toward the Great Hall. Seraphina was mid-conversation with Draco about how practice had gone that more when someone had approached her from behind.

"Avery." Seraphina heard from behind her, Mattheo and Draco both stopped speaking and glared behind her.

Seraphina turned and met Harry's green eyes. "Hey, Potter." She said lightly, hyper-aware of all the eyes that were on her back.

Harry looked from her to her friends, shifting uncomfortably as he stood there. He regretted coming over to her while she was with her friends but it was too late for that now.

"Are you lost, Potter?" Draco sneered at him.

"Are you deaf? I said 'Avery' not 'Malfoy'" Harry retorted, glaring at Malfoy.

Seraphina glared at Draco before looking back at Harry who was looking at her bandage and then back at her.

"Erm, I owe you this." He said holding up a Galleon. Seraphina smiled as she got up from her seat.

"Thank you very much," She said taking the Galleon from him and slipping it into the pocket of her robe.

"Better luck next time." She winked at him.
