"That'll be all for now darlings?" She asked and Evan and Seraphina nodded to her.

"Thank you," Seraphina told her before she had walked away.

Seraphina reached over and poured a dash of milk into her tea before stirring it with the spoon. She took a sip, hoping that the warm liquid would calm her stomach. Evan didn't say anything for a moment, just watching her with wandering eyes like she was a prize that he was determined to win.

"I heard guys are off to a rocky start this year." He said switching the topic onto Quidditch before taking a sip of his own tea.

"It's going to be a challenge. I'm trying to convince Montague that we won't have a chance at the cup this year if we don't replace Crabbe and Goyle as beaters. They might be big but they're so stupid I swear they can't tell one end of the broom from the other." Seraphina said, rolling her eyes.

Evan smirked, shaking his head a little. "They can't be that bad." He said to her and Seraphina raised an eyebrow at him.

"They run into each other about three times a practice. I know he's just using Flint's strategy of bigger over actual skill but it's just not going to cut it." She said, sighing a little.

"I'm trying to convince him to hold a tryout. So far he isn't budging though. I've sent Pucey to convince him it's for the betterment of the team." She explained.

"You aren't worried that they'll hold a tryout and he'll replace you too?" He asked and Seraphina scoffed, mildly offended.

"Come see me practice and you'll very quickly see why there is no bloody way that's happening." She said, meeting his eyes.

"I'm unsure if that's a threat or an invitation," Evan said with a playful smirk.

"Looks like you'll have to find out for yourself." She smiled as she took another sip of her tea.

"I guess I will." He retorted, before sending him a wink that quickly turned Seraphina's cocky smirk into a slightly pink blush across her cheeks.

Evan smiled rather triumphantly as the butterflies in Seraphina's chest began to take flight once again.  "I'm not sure your friends would like it if I came though." He added after a moment and Seraphina's smile quickly turned into confusion.

"What do you mean?" She asked him confused, her friends couldn't care less who came to her practice. They didn't even come most of the time since their practices were early in the morning and most of them didn't want to drag themselves out of bed.

"Let's just say, I don't think they approve of me." He said coolly, taking another sip of his tea.

"They barely know you. Besides, they don't care about who I date. Nor do they have a say." She said with a little shrug as she crossed her legs and picked her cup up off the table.

"They most certainly do care. They threatened me to stay away from you." He said as she took a sip.

Seraphina choked on her tea and coughed as she put the cup down. There was no way that he was being serious. "Pardon? Who bloody threatened you?" She said looking back at him.

"Nott and Riddle. The only reason it didn't get physical was because Berkshire stepped in." He told her shaking his head a little "They think you're their property or something." he said reaching over and taking her hand.

Seraphina took a deep breath, to try and calm the rage that was bubbling up now. She couldn't believe that Theo had threatened him but she really couldn't comprehend why Riddle also threatened him. They hadn't spoken in days and he was the last person she thought would ever have an opinion on who she was dating. Theo was a little more believable, he'd always been the protective one. Mattheo on the other hand, never gave any guy she was with a second glance. So she couldn't understand why on earth he would threaten Evan.
