The Therapeutic Effects of Tea

Part 2
"Ready, Vi?"
"Goodness no, dear. I'm about to find out where the villain has taken the heroine. If I'm not mistaken, she's about to be ravished somewhere in Siam."
Returning to her book, Verna said:
"I believe it's called Thailand now, dear."
"His name is Courtland, Verna."
"No, Vi. Not the villain, the country."
"Really? Thailand. Are you sure?"
"I believe so. They changed it, quite recently, I think.
"Whatever for?"
Exasperated, her sister finally put her book down for a moment.
"I don't know Vi, it's just one of those political things."
"Well, I hadn't heard anything. All the papers write about these days is that awful Hitler. I do wish he'd behave. All this talk about war is most distressing. Most."
"Yes, dear."
(To be continued).
