Always shut down.
Have lived for thousands of years and yet always shut down.
Always when she's a woman.

"With all due respect sir," she said kindly with an awkward smile. She had studied the subject the general was talking about and wanted to kindly correct him on a mistake he'd made that could lead to dozens of deaths and yet- "who is the general out of the two of us, missy?" He shut her down.

She just kept her mouth shut.
If she'd been listened to those people were alive today.

"With all due respect, professor" she said sternly, only wanting to correct him on a little mistake he'd made but yet again "who's the student here? Sit down and listen, if you pipe in again I will throw you out of class" he threatened.

She kept her mouth shut, getting frustrated.

"Um sir" she called softly as the water spilled into the submarine.
He didn't listen to her.
"Sir." She said a bit louder.
He just kept talking with someone else.

What did she have to lose? She was immortal anyway.
She kept her mouth shut.

She was the only one who survived when the vessel sunk to the bottom of the ocean, never to be seen again.
"With no respect at all, sir bitch" she spat at the man who just groped her friend in the street.

"Wow someone's on her period" he laughed to his friends "what are you gonna do? Punch me?" He mocked.

So she did, she gave him her best sucker punch and he fell to the ground "Yeah how 'bout it?" She smiled proudly at her self. It was going to leave a mark on his face. "Bet that doesn't feel so good does it? Maybe think twice before you touch someone on the street like that, fucking dick sucking bag of shit"
It felt good. She felt good.

All this time being ignored and finally getting to see men cower away from her felt really good.
"That's fucking right, go run to your mamas"

But she always found herself at the bottom of the chain of command.

"Sir I think you should see this" she said, watching the strange aircraft on the radar, unmarked, making its way towards them.

"It's nothing, kid" he waved a dismissive hand at her "say something when you see something that's actually strange" he mocked her.

But this was actually strange, it was what they told her to look out for and she did and now they won't listen?

"You know what? Fuck you" she said, grabbing a parachute from a locker.
She wasn't planning on being inside an aircraft as it got absolutely demolished.

"Hey! Where are you going?!" The commander shouted as he watched her open the door "I command you to stop!" He ordered.

"Well you're gonna have to stop me yourself!" She said and jumped, knowing he won't be jumping after her.

The air felt good and cold as she fell through the sky.
The aircrafts crached into eachother leaving no surviving lives.
"With all due respect, sir" she started but gave up on that sentence so many times.

But not this time.
It was the end of the world, the goddamned apocalypse and she was being doubted and shut down yet again.

She's been trained for the day they'd be coming and now some human who knew nothing of this sort was shutting her up.

"Come on, I watched so many apocalyptic movies I'm probably a better leader than you, lady" he laughed.
She was fuming, you could really feel the heat radiate off of her.
"with absolutely NO RESPECT, BITCH. I HAVE BEEN AROUND FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS AND HAVE SEEN WARS UPON WARS UPON WARS AND NEVER HAVE I BEEN DISRESPECT LIKE I HAVE BEEN NOW!" her eyes turned red, her skin darkened and a tail became present behind her.

"you humans have no respect for beings smarter and stronger than you" the horns at the top of her head were the cherry on top, she really scared them this time "maybe this is why heaven stopped taking you in after you die, all of you are going to hell one day and if you follow this guy it'll be sooner than later" she may have been a hell creature but even she wasn't a monster.

She was sent there to help the humans and the humans thought they were so much smarter than her so they shut her up.

She wasn't letting that happen again.

"I've been trained my whole death for this and I will not be undermined by a stupid little human like you" she leaned down to his level, bearing her sharp teeth in his terrified face.

She looked around at all the terrified little humans, they won't be coming with her, she scared them too much.
She sighed "stop shutting my people down, none of us will take it lying down"

She disappeared into the oncoming storm that night and was never seen by a human again.
