What if Anjali had died in the car accident that Shyam had orchestrated for her on the wedding day of Payal and Akash? I didn't quite understand Shyam's logic here of killing Anjali. Thankfully, things worked out in the show. He expected that if Anjali was removed from his path, being a widower, seeing his devastated condition Khushi's family would agree to marry her to him. Wouldn't they see through his act of being fake sad for Anjali and get even more disgusted by him? And how did he forget about the person with the actual broken heart and ruined life, Arnav Singh Raizada. Of course, Arnav would be the most devastated one, considering all his immediate family members had left him, his mother, father and now his sister.
This situation lends itself to an obvious alliance, Arnav and Khushi's. Especially considering that, at this point in the story, they both were totally in their flirting with each other phase. Also, Devyaani Raizada had seen the spark between the two of them and decided to get them married. A mature and understanding Khushi pulls a devastated Arnav out of his darkest yet. But the question of Shyam still lingers. What will happen when a some what settled Arnav, finds out the truth about his ex-brother in law and his wife? Will he be able to take the betrayal? What will Khushi do when she finds out that directly or indirectly she was the cause of Anjali's death? Will her marriage survive this big blow?
