Edgar's pov:

People say college is one of the most memorable places of your life, making most of your adult friends, first time drinking, partying, getting your drivers license, things like that. I find it rather refreshing to live independent of my parents, having moved into the dormitories of my college. Yet instead of living my life, I'm stuck babysitting my sister Colette.

-Gosh Colette, could you let go of me? -I groaned, trying to get my wrist out of her grasp.
-Hehe nope! You said you'd accompany me to the dnd club, and I'm not letting you back out now! -She giggled, continuing to drag me along the corridors of the college.
-Ugh fine, but still, there's no reason for you to drag me around! -I scoffed, but had given up on escaping.

We had finally arrived to the club room, as Colette knocked on the door with a special knock before someone opened the door. We walked in, and I instantly spotted the massive table in the middle of the room, everyone gathering around it with sheets of papers and a few dices.
-Hey guys, this is my friend Edgar, he's just gonna be watching if you don't mind! -Colette introduced me cheerfully.
-Yo. -I greeted, my arms crossed as I glanced through the room full of nerds. I can't believe Colette brought me into this..

-Welcome to the club Edgar, hope you will enjoy the session! You two may take a seat. -Said a guy right across from us. He had glasses and had lustrous long red hair, which's upper half was tied up into a bun. He had a bunch of piercings and freckles, and he wore ragged old clothes, dressing more comfortable than fashionable.

I took a seat next to Colette, and while the other's prepared for the session, she began telling me about the others and the game. Turns out the red hair dude is called Draco, and he's the "dungeon master", aka the storyteller. He basically writes the campaigns and leads the story, having prepared objectives, challenges and enemies along the way. The players on the other hand have to roll dices for every choice they make, the higher the better obviously. I also spotted some people I knew from classes, like Carl, with his dumb bowl cut and ugly chunky glasses, aswell as his massive 2 front teeth. He looked like the "erm actually-" meme in real life, and acted like it aswell, trying to be the favorite student of every single teacher on campus. Yuck. I also spotted Bea and a few familiar faces, people I didn't really know too well. And... is that fucking Janet??

My eyes opened wide as I looked at the cotton candy pink haired girl, who clearly noticed me beforehand and was actively trying to blend in and hide. I smirked smugly, finding it quite hilarious to see one of the popular girls in the nerdiest club on campus.

-Okay guys, everyone ready? So uhm where were we... -Draco mumbled, going through his notes. -Ah hah! Your team has arrived to the town of Goldberg, still in the search of the Ruby Amulet. What do you guys want to do first? -He asked, turning towards us.
-I look for the blacksmith of the town! -Carl declared, arranging his glasses.
-Okay, you go to the blacksmith, what do you want to do? -Draco questioned further.
-I steal the most valuable sword from him. -He smirked smugly.
-Roll for stealth.

Carl grabbed his dice, rolling a 19.
-Haha! Just as I planned! -He smiled smugly, as if he could calculate luck. Ugh this guy..
-Now you have the sword, but it's low level and has less damage than your current weapon. -Draco explained, scribbling on his notepad.
-Shucks! Then I'll try to sell it back to him. -Carl said with a groan.
-Roll for success. -Draco mumbled, clearly annoyed. Seems like Carl tends to use this tactic rather often.

He rolled the dice yet again, rolling a fumbling 2.
-A 2? Hmm... the blacksmith recognized the sword right away and you were arrested. It took your team 1000 gold to bail you out. -Draco read it off the sheet.
-A THOUSAND?? THATS ALMOST ALL WE HAD! -Colette yelled at Carl, as everyone groaned and rolled their eyes. Seems like the nerd has gained quite a few enemies.
-I-it's the dice guys, come on! -Carl rumbled, trying to save himself.
-You keep doing this! Will you ever learn from it? -Bea scoffed, crossing her arms.
