Seraphina relented and let Madam Pomfrey take a look at both of their hands. "Does it hurt?" She asked looking at the both of them as she cleaned Seraphina's hand.

Seraphina hissed and nodded a little to her "Yes, it's been throbbing since last night." She explained.

"You both should have come straight to me and let me have a look." She said seriously looking between Harry and Seraphina as she applied some sort of numbing cream to her hand.

"We didn't want to bother you with this. The bleeding stopped fairly soon after." Harry explained as Madam Pomfrey just waved him off.

"It's blood magic, Potter. I'm sorry to say this but it's out of both of your current magical capabilities. It's tricky magic." Madam Pomfrey told Harry who just nodded as she moved onto his hand.

"I've given you both something to numb it. That should help with the throbbing and get you through the remainder of your classes. After dinner, I want to see you both. I'm going to brew a healing potion. Unfortunately, I'm afraid that you both might have traces of this on your hands after it heals." She explained.

Seraphina nodded a little as she listened to her, looking down at her hand. She was slightly embarrassed that they were making such a fuss about all this. But then again, she didn't want anyone else to be subjected to what she and Harry were last night.

"I'm not bandaging them, I want to see if letting them breathe helps any. Understood?" Madam Pomfrey said once she had finished.

"Yes ma'am." Both she and Harry said, earning a smile from Madam Pomfrey before she looked at Snape and McGonagall.

"I can assure you we won't this go any further. I'm going to speak with the Headmaster to let him know what's been happening." McGonagall explained.

"No," Harry interjected causing all of them to look over at him and a flash of panic went through his face.

"Professor Dumbledore is busy. He doesn't need to be bothered with something as ridiculous as this." He stuttered out, hesitantly.

Seraphina frowned a little looking over at him curiously. She had always known Potter as the person who would tell Dumbledore everything that was going on. Surely getting tortured by a teacher would be something important to mention to him.

"I mean, um he's got enough going on," Harry added taking a deep breath.

"Right, well. We can try and handle it ourselves first. I'll have a word with Professor Umbridge." McGonagall said watching Harry cautiously.

"If that's all, Miss Avery and I have a potions lesson to get to," Severus said finally after a short awkward pause while Harry collected himself.

Seraphina looked down at her watch and realized they were due to start their lesson now. She grabbed her bag, standing up. She looked over at Madam Pomfrey and Professor McGonagall. "Thank you." She said sincerely looking between the both of them.

They both smiled warmly at her and nodded. Seraphina smiled a little at Potter who nodded to her. He still had that troubled look in his eyes. The same one that she noticed last night when they were talking about Cedric.

Seraphina thanked Professor Snape as he held the door, letting her walk out first. The two of them walked in silence back down to the dungeons. Neither of them tried even starting a conversation with the other, which Seraphina was completely fine with. She felt the whole interaction itself was embarrassing enough.

When they got to the dungeon's Snape once again opened the door for her. The whole room was speaking amongst themselves, theorizing why Professor Snape was late. Seraphina walked in and immediately zeroed in on an empty seat in the room. She sat down without a word as a few people looked over at her as she made her way to the table.
