(Jamie's POV)
I wasn't here anymore. After I had woken up, I had slipped into another trance, this one I would never get out of. Now that I knew everything about anything, I couldn't stay in my body, or stay sane.
Well, I was still sane, and would be until I inherited the Phantom's position. Now I knew why he did all these things.
For now, I could help Alfred and Arthur beat him. I wasn't in control of my body though. You know your reflexes?
This was kind of like that. I did whatever came to mind first. If I thought, 'I should eat something' foods of all kinds would appear.
I had practiced this for two months, but it was still hard to control my thoughts. I couldn't think anything except what I was going to do.
It was kind of like torture. I couldn't daydream, I couldn't even sleep anymore! My thoughts would get too out of control.
So of course, when America fell into the hole, my first thought was to go after him. And that's just what I did.
I fell throught the hole and into a dark room. I decided to go a little bit into the future, just until Alfred woke up or whatever.
I slipped up and accidentally went a bit too far. After all, I didn't have control of my abilities yet. I ended up going into a kissing scene.
Russia and... Belarus? Why would he kiss her?
I fought against my first response and tried not to skip this moment. Otherwise I would probably miss something important.
Surprisingly, I didn't do what my first thought was. Maybe I was getting a bit better at this....
Well, let's test that! I jumped a little bit further into the future and ended up falling on the floor behind America. That is, after breathing out rainbows and bouncing around, leaving a trail of sparkles in my wake.
Now I was stuck in a net, tied to the ceiling. What had happened? I continued to jump through past and present until I ended up back where I started, hidden behind the wall.
I suddenly got dizzy and passed out. So much for getting better.... I was probably getting more powerful, giving me less control. Great. Just great.
After I woke up, I was also tied to a chair. Why had Belarus captured us?
"You! Answer Me!" Belarus exclaimed, snapping me back into reality. "What was the question?"
She smiled unhappily, which confused me a lot. "Where are you all planning on going?" She asked, seemingly calm again.
"We're..." Should I tell her what we're doing? I had a feeling I should, so I did. "We're going to defeat the Phantom."
She stumbled back a few steps, eyes wide. "You what?! Are you insane?!" Then I noticed, she wasn't wearing her usual clothes.
She was wearing an orange jumpsuit, much like the ones we had to wear when we were captured. But, it was torn. And her hair was pulled back into a ponytail, with thick strands falling out.
Had she escaped the prison? Well, how else could she be here? "You escaped, didn't you?" I asked.
Her eyes widened more. "N-no. How could I escape? The Ph-Phantom is my f-f-f-friend." She crinkled her nose at the word friend.
"So you did escape. Why are you against us then? Wouldn't you want to help?" I looked around.
No one was here. She must have moved America and Russia to different rooms. I was alone.
With her.
"Shut up! I didn't escape, I just happened to be let out!" Belarus screeched.
"Look Belarus, we need your help. At least let us go." I replied. "No! No no no no no no no no no! Then I'll have to.... Have to..." She gulped.
"Have to what?" I asked. She ran up to me and gripped the chair's armrests. "Look Jamie, if I let you all go, I'll get killed.
"The Phantom is out to get me. I escaped his prison and now I'm hiding out here. If I bring you guys to him, he'll forgive me. I'll be safe again."
She had a mad glint in her eyes as she whispered her situation. The Phantom did have a bad effect on people.
"Even if I have to live in that horrid mansion, at least I'll be safe. I'll be safe. Safe. Safe." She slowly let go of the chair and fell to the floor, rocking back and forth.
"Safe. Safe. Safe. Safe. Safe." She muttered to herself. "Belarus! Put yourself together!" I jumped in the chair and thought of a hand.
A hand appeared in front of her and slapped her. I concentrated on getting the hand to untie me.
After about a minute, I was free, and Belarus was herself again. "Belarus, please. Help us."
Belarus scowled at the ground. "Fine. But, you can't tell anyone of this. I wasn't myself." I nodded in agreement.
"And also, if you guys get captured, you're on your own. I'm not risking it." She added.
I shrugged. "Alright. Where are the others?" Belarus shrugged also.
"I told you, I wasn't myself. They could be anywhere." My eyes widened.
"What do you mean anywhere?"
"Anywhere. As in, they could be in any place."
Alright then. Let's play a hyped up version if hide and seek, which will possibly result in death.
Fun.
