In broton, shadows danced under the flickering streetlights, and the air crackled with an unease that whispered of danger. Among the hidden dangers was one you wouldn't expect: a boy named Iago, gifted with psychic abilities and flames that could warm the coldest of hearts, yet feared for the destruction they could bring.

Iago had always kept a tight rein on his powers. A tragic tragedy haunted him—a moment of fury when he was younger had resulted in the death of his mother while she was pregnant with Cory, Iago's younger sister. He made a superstorm that killed the Dawson's Mother, caused Alex who was nearby to have his black hair turned white and give him control of the air by tearing at reality at the atomic level and made people a Part-elemental but Iago was born with it. To this day, he lived in dread that he would be the cause of more suffering; every spark he conjured felt like a flame clawing at his sanity. He didn't want more of It after today when he gave a class with 16 students' powers.

It was a fateful night when Alex, Iago's brother who could summon the winds, confronted his brother in an abandoned warehouse. Tensions flared as Alex demanded answers about the mob( Iago already knew about the mob) that had been terrorizing their neighborhood and the reasons why Diego had the power over time. Conflicting emotions surged between them; fear of Iago's powers clashed with Alex's desire for justice. Words turned to blows as a fight broke out between brothers. Alex used his wind powers to jump as high as 35 feet for the 1st blow but missed and Iago let loose a powerful flame that Alex barely managed to dodge at 5 feet. Alex went for an air blast this strike was true but Iago was no worse than when the fight began, for a brief moment, the air glimmered as Iago summoned a flame, defiant. But it was extinguished, not by Alex's strength, but by Iago's hesitation—a painful reminder of his past. Iago soon said "No... I was about to hurt my brother! I am a monster! I am never going to be seen as just more than a monster!" "No Please I know you're not a monster just someone that needs control over these powers, Iago" Said Alex. Iago overfilled with guilt ran away from the warehouse full of tears.

Across the darkened street, Cory, their sister, watched silently, capturing every word with her piercing gaze. Though she was mute, her heart spoke volumes, echoing the urgent need for unity.
