The day had finally came. Poppy, Rosie, and Lily were leaving the dumping ground - hopefully for good. It was bittersweet. On one hand, the others were happy for them, on the other, it was a harsh reminder that that they were still unwanted.

Marlene knew Carmen would take the sisters leaving the hardest. She had not only found a best friend in Lily, but little sisters in Rosie and Poppy.

Marlene couldn't imagine how she'd feel if Frank or Sapphire had left. And knowing Carmen the way she did, Marlene assumed she wasn't going to cope well.

Marlene stood with her arms crossed watching along with Sapphire, Frank, Toby, and Liam as Tracy ran in, looking sweaty and out of breath.

She glanced in their direction, looking exhausted. Her head turned to Johnny, Tee, and Harry who were watching her at the other side of the hall with the same judgemental looks.

Finally her eyes caught onto Gina, Mike, and the Perry's. Chuckling nervously, Tracy tried to stand up. "Travel card empty. Got kicked off the bus. Ran the whole way here." She managed to stammer out, still clearly out of breath. Lifting her finger, she was on the run once more, this time up stairs.

Marlene and Sapphire looked at each other, rolling their eyes with amusement.

It wasn't long until the girls were ready to leave. Marlene hugged all three of them, wishing them luck. "Enjoy this. It's a good thing." Marlene whispered to Lily.
