Marlene sat on the couch, her feet hanging over Sapphire's scrolling through her phone whilst trying to drown out the sound of Carmen complaining.
"Harry, Harry! I was watching that." She argued whilst Harry fiddled with the wires of the television, bored of whatever it was Carmen was watching.
Marlene wasn't surprised, Harry was the youngest in the care home and whilst most of the house had grown and didn't want to watch cartoons anymore, Harry was a different. He still loved cartoons and got bored whenever anything else was on.
Marlene and Sapphire shared a grin as they watched Harry nod his head and smile innocently at Carmen from where he was sat at the tv. Rolling her eyes, she got up, storming away presumably to complain to Mike.
Her assumption was soon proved right when Mike came into the room, Carmen trailing behind him. "Oh, Harry, come here, you devil, you!" Mike chuckled, lifting Harry away from the television.
It wasn't long before the room erupted into chaos, which wasn't unusual. Mike was attempting to fix the tv, Johnny was chasing after tee knocking into everyone in the process whilst Mike continted to softly lecture Harry.
Marlene rolled her eyes, there really wasn't a minutes piece in this house.
"Who's that your texting?" Sapphire asked, glancing at the younger girls phone. Out of everyone in the house, Sapphire was definitely the one Marlene trusted the most. The girl was like an older sister to her, not that she'd ever admit it out loud.
