Thanksgiving Meals

Your POV:

Today is Thanksgiving and you and Mike are spending it with your family. You can't wait for him to meet your aunt and uncle and your cousins. You're getting ready in a really cute fall dress. It's a burnt orange knee length dress with a flared skirt. You also do an orange smoky eye makeup. Once you're ready you head out to the living room. You go over to Mike and see he's wearing an orange button up shirt with leaves on it. He looks so handsome and he's matching you which is so cute.
"Hey we're matching." You say.
Mike chuckles.
"Yeah I peeked in and saw the orange dress on the bed while you were in the shower so I figured I'd wear a matching shirt." He says.
Your heart flutters.
"Awww that's so cute." You say.
He gives you a kiss on the forehead.
"I love you." He says.
"I love you too." You say leaning into him.
"You look gorgeous sweetheart." He says.
"And you look very handsome baby." You say.
"You ready to go?" He asks.
"Yep I'm ready." You say.
You grab the dish you made to bring with you and a bottle of wine you're also bringing then throw your phone in your purse. Mike insists on taking the dish and wine from you and grabs his keys and you go outside Mike locking the door behind him. You go over to his car and he opens the passenger door for you then hands you the dish and wine after you get in and buckle up. He then gets in on the drivers side. Once he's buckled he starts driving to your parents house with your directions and soon you're pulling up to your parents house. Mike gets out and opens your door for you then takes the dish and wine from you before shutting the door and locking the car. You then go up to the front door and ring the doorbell. Your mom answers and you give her a hug and you and Mike go inside.
"So glad to see you both happy Thanksgiving." Your mom says and gives Mike a hug hello.
Mike hands the dish and wine to your mom.
"Oh thank you!" She says.
She goes into the kitchen and you go with Mike to the living room to introduce him to your aunt, uncle, and cousins.
Your dad sees Mike and comes over and gives him a hug.
"How are you son? Happy Thanksgiving." Your dad says.
"Happy Thanksgiving sir I'm well thank you how are you?" Mike says.
"I'm good thanks and please call me D/N." He says.
You then introduce Mike to everyone and he fits in really well with your family which you're really happy about. You leave Mike to talk to your family and go in the kitchen to help your mom with the food. You and your mom talk while preparing the food and it's not long before everything is ready. You call everyone into the dining room and everyone sit: down. Mike sits next to you and you squeeze his hand as he does.
Everyone says what they're thankful for and soon it's Mikes turn.
"I'm thankful for this delicious meal and my beautiful amazing girlfriend." Mike says.
Everyone awws at his words. You blush.
"I'm thankful for this meal as well and that I was lucky enough to find a man as amazing as Mike." You say.
Everyone awws again.
"I love you." He says quietly squeezing your hand.
"I love you too." You say quietly squeezing his hand back.
You all eat and talk and laugh as you eat everyone getting to know Mike better and him getting to know your family better. You have such a good time and once everyone is done eating dinner it's time for dessert. You all eat dessert then you help your mom with the dishes. You all then sit in the living room together.
"So Mike what do you do?" Your uncle asks.
"I'm a professor at a college." Mike says.
"Oh which one?" He asks.
"(College you went to)." Mike says.
"Oh that's where Y/N went." He says.
"Yeah that's actually how we met she was one of my students and I just fell for her." Mike says.
"Awwww that's so sweet." Your aunt says.
"Also very morally ambiguous." Your uncle adds.
"I know and I would never have normally even thought of pursuing a relationship with a student. However, I could tell just by the short amount of time we spent together when I was tutoring her that our chemistry was off the charts. Then when we started going on dates I realized quickly that she was the one." Mike says.
Your mom and aunt are swooning and your dad and uncle looked pleased with his words.
"I can appreciate that, love can form out of the blue." Your uncle says.
You all talk some more and soon it's late so you decide to head back to Mikes place. You give everyone a hug and your mom gives you some leftovers. After you say your goodbyes to everyone, you go outside. You head to Mikes car and he opens the passenger door for you then shuts it and gets in on the drivers side. Once you're both buckled he starts driving back to his place. Once you get there he gets out and opens your door for you then shuts it and locks the car. You both then head inside and you put the leftovers in the fridge. Mike then comes up behind you and wraps his arms around you.
"I'm still hungry sweetheart." He purrs making you shiver.
"Oh yeah?" You say coyly.
"Mmhmm I need my second Thanksgiving feast." He says sucking your earlobe and neck in between words.
He then picks you up and carries you to the bedroom. You yelp then giggle as he carries you. You can't wait to see what he has planned. You know it's going to be great.
