If you asked Marlene what her relationship with Liam was like, she'd say it was okay. The two hadn't really hung out alone together and seemed to only really hang out when Frank was around.
But when Liam comes back from yet another foster home and...
The next morning, the house was once again having a house meeting organized by Tracy. Everyone around the kitchen table watched as Frank, who had his head flat on the table, slept. The only sound to indicate he was still alive were the soft snores coming out of his mouth.
"What time did you go to bed at last night, Frank?" Tracy asked, slamming a box of cereal on the table to wake him up.
Frank sat up immediately, yawning and rubbing his eyes, too tired to answer.
"And Johnny, where's Tee?" Tracy asked, noticing the girls absence.
Giving the older girl a dirty look, Johnny shrugged. "How should I know? I'm just her brother."
"Someone's in a mood." Marlene muttered, making Carmen, who sat next to her, giggle.
"Right, you lot." Tracy sighed, deciding to start the meeting. "After yesterday's... events, I've decided there'll be no more trading, exchanging, or swapping chores. So you can all do your own jobs."
Harry stood on his chair, slamming his hands on the table. "Hey!" He yelled, he and Marlene had been the only two who had actually done their own jobs.
Johnny however seemed to be more mad. Standing up abruptly, he pushed his hair so hard it fell over and stormed out of the kitchen.
"Ohhh!" Liam tutted. "Someone's not happy." He chuckled. "What's the point in tidying if we don't get an award?"
"Because, Liam if this place turns into a tip then things go missing." Tracy said, annoyed. "Like the tv remote." She lifted the remote causing everyone to groan, and yell out their complaints.
Harry even went as far as trying to grab it out or her hands. "Go on, Harry!" Marlene called, encouraging him.
"Ehh, complain as much as you like." Tracy called, silencing them. "But this is your home, so you better start treating it like one. Okay?" She told them. "Go on."

Marlene was walking back home with Jack. She had been over at his place for half the afternoon. The two noticed Frank and Liam standing infront of a load of boxes and books with a big sign that read "book signing here! Today!"
Marlene snorted as the two made their way over, hand in hand. Just as they were about there, Sapphire ran towards them. "Frank, Liam, Marlene, quick!" She yelled, sounding frantic. "Tee's in trouble!"
The three shared a worried look before they quickly ran, following Sapphire, Jack following behind the four.
When they ran into the garden, the last thing they expected was to see Tee high up in the tree, Johnny a little below her. "Tee, listen to me. Just grab my hand!" Johnny called.
"What's happening?" Liam asked, his tone full of concern.
Jack wrapped his arm around Marlene, noticing the distressed look on her face. "Why's she even up there?" Marlene asked, confused.
