If you asked Marlene what her relationship with Liam was like, she'd say it was okay. The two hadn't really hung out alone together and seemed to only really hang out when Frank was around.
But when Liam comes back from yet another foster home and...
Marlene leaned in closer to Liam. "This is never going to work." She whispered. "I hope you know that."
Liam pushed her arm lightly, a playful glare on his face. "We'll see." He said before noticing the amount of boxes in the car. "I didn't think you'd bring all the books."
"We didn't." Cam said, handing Marlene a box. "These are just the ones from our kitchen."
Marlene raised a brow in Tracy's direction. "You were very confident this book was going to do well, weren't you."
"How many books did you print, exactly?" Jack asked, being handed a box as well.
Marlene shook her head. "More than she could afford, I'll tell you that much."
"Now, are you sure Mike's alright with this?" Cam asked, clearly under the impression Mike knew what they were doing. Which he didn't.
Liam, confused looked towards Tracy who was nodding her head frantically behind Cam. "Yeah!" Liam dragged out. "Course he is. And we'll find a place for these." He said smiling. "Somewhere." He muttered, making Marlene who had overheard him, chuckle.
The five watched as Cam drove away, and began lifting the boxes into Liam's room. "Tracy!" Mike called, causing them to freeze. "Did I see you come up here?"
"Right, you lot find a place to stash them, I'll keep Mike busy, alright?"
She didn't wait for a reply before closing the door and rushing out.
Marlene gave Jack an apologetic smile. He hadn't came around to help Frank and Liam he'd came around to spend some quality time with her.
Jack shook his head reassuringly. He didn't didn't mind helping Frank and Liam out if it meant spending time with Marlene.
Liam was quick to open his wardrobe, pulling out Carmen's old beanbags, he passed one to Frank who immediately rushed to the door.
"What are you doing?" Marlene asked him. "You can't go out that way. Mike." She reminded the boy.
"This way." Liam whispered, grabbing the beanbag out of Franks arms and rushing to the other side of the room.
Jack picked up the other beanbag, following suit. Throwing both beanbags out of the window, the four immediately started stashing the boxes into the wardrobe.

"Hey Toby, you alright?" Marlene asked as she and Jack entered the living room after grabbing a snack from the kitchen.
Toby was playing pool alone, and looked slightly terrified. "I almost died today." He muttered.
Jack picked up the other pool stick, silently offering to play with him. "How'd you almost die?" He asked, missing the soft smile Marlene had whilst staring at him.
